Το Tongariro Crossing Lodge βρίσκεται σε ένα ήσυχο περιβάλλον με μεγάλους, όμορφα διαμορφωμένους κήπους και μια γραφική βεράντα στον κήπο με θέα στο βουνό. Tongariro Crossing Lodge was a great place to stay for our family (parents, 2 adult daughters). Our main purpose was to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing the next day. However, after consulting with Louis (owner) and looking at the predicted cloud cover, we opted to delay the hike an extra day Louis kindly suggested alternative shorter hikes/activities near by, which were very enjoyable. Louis had also reserved spots for us on the shuttle (to/from hike) but upon our arrival and discussion, we decided to drive ourselves to the carpark which ended up being a good idea since the day we hiked was extremely cloudy, not clearing up until about 1pm. Driving ourselves allowed us to be flexible and enjoy the stunning views for another hour instead of rushing back to make the 5:30pm shuttle. In addition to the room (ours was newly renovated), you could also pay for a continental breakfast and sack lunch which Louis brought to our room the night before the hike. Very convenient and yummy!! Lodge was also within walking distance of restaurants (two that we ate at had great views of mountains, sunset) and small store. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay - perfect for us :). Louis was also very responsive prior to our trip, answering my many questions.

Loved our night in this log lodge - only let down was wishing we stayed longer to get more use from it. Such a unique and interesting property - very big and comfortable - would be great for a large group (almost too big for just 3 of us!) with a number of different living spaces. Loved all the different seating areas and nooks. Very much appreciated the fire running when we arrived. It did get quite cold overnight so would suggest keeping the fire running or using the heaters. The view in the morning and having a coffee out on the balcony was spectacular - as were the homemade crumpets and jam that we had for breakfast. It had everything you would need for a big group - ample crockery, cooking equipment and pantry staples. Definitely recommend stay here.

Το Rural retreat - Tahi cabin βρίσκεται σε Ohakune και προσφέρει βεράντα. The cabin was new and beautifully furnished. Had all the faculties we needed and was close to town. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Το Gondwana Chalet perfect for all seasons έχει αυλή και προσφέρει θέα στο βουνό. Είναι σε Ohakune σε Manawatu. The chalet was very cozy and spacious, it felt like home. Location was great, about 50 km from The Mont Tongariro National Park. Everything was great and clean. Communication with host was great too.

The chalet was gorgeous—super cozy and well set up—and the location was amazing, and the owner was lovely and made everything really easy. Already keen to book our next trip!

Great selection of facilities. Very good internet. Fantastic high powered shower. Comfortable bed. Very close to the newly finished Te Ara Mangawhero cycle track.

House it self was perfect for our group and well equipped. Not to mention the location itself was amazing and peaceful. We absolutely loved out stay so much that we will definitely be back.

Το Tekoa Lodge Raurimu βρίσκεται σε Raurimu Spiral, σε απόσταση 21 χλμ από Taranaki Falls και 27 χλμ από Whakapapa. Προσφέρει παροχές όπως δωρεάν WiFi και τηλεόραση επίπεδης οθόνης. Loved the wood fire, outdoor space, bush setting, bedrooms. It was great.
