The mosquito net made sure we could get a good night's sleep without being bitten. We loved our stay, if we ever come back to Santa Catalina we will be staying at Rancho Estero again (but longer :-) ).

There is a walk path in the jungle to the beach which we loved taking. The architecture and the garden(s) are amazing. You are living in the jungle but with comfort. The staff and owner are amazingly friendly and accommodating! We had cleaners every day if we wanted and they even watched for our dog so we could do a snorkel trip to Coiba! We worked from there and like every rural place there was an occasional power cut, but beside that the internet was reliable
