Lorena, the host, was amazing and made us feel at home every day while we were there. Breakfast was tasty and they were preparing it earlier than usual as we had early morning tours. We felt very connected with the nature and spent amazing days.

The family operating this hotel is some of the kindest people we met and they will help you with anything you need :) Their property is huge and they show you around and explain to you everything you need and want to know! I was sick for 2 days, and they even made me a special herbal tea from an Amazonian plant that helped me a lot. Even the food - amazing!! All the meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and made with a lot of local and seasonal plants from their 14-hectare land. On our walk, we even went to pick fruits with them, which we could try 5 minutes later! This was truly an amazing experience, and this hotel alone was worth the commute to Iquitos.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Libertad Jungle Lodge biedt accommodatie met een terras in Yucuruche. Je kunt bij de lodge in de buurt uitstekend vissen en kanoën, of gebruikmaken van de tuin. It was great because we had one tour guide (Miguel) taking care of us the entire time. From pick up to drop off and we had so many great outings and adventures thanks to him ! I can really recommend this lodge.
