Lorena, the host, was amazing and made us feel at home every day while we were there. Breakfast was tasty and they were preparing it earlier than usual as we had early morning tours. We felt very connected with the nature and spent amazing days.

A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Most important to mention is the great team - Victor realises every customer wish, Carlos is an exceptional guide and Leo cooks delicious for literally every meal. As well as all the others do a great job too. Big thank you to all of them, you made our stay unforgettable!! Other than that, the location, facility and the tours are great. We stayed 3 nights and it exceeded our expectations as the pictures don’t really show how beautiful it actually is there.

Libertad Jungle Lodge biedt accommodatie met een terras in Yucuruche. Je kunt bij de lodge in de buurt uitstekend vissen en kanoën, of gebruikmaken van de tuin. My guide Larry met me at the airport and we travelled to the lodge. Although it was 3 hours time went fast watching the landscape go by. It was dry season for my visit so unfortunately the river way very low and the lodge was not on the river as per photographed on booking. I do wish this was explained. Otherwise i had an amazing 5 days. The accommodation was clean, the food was ok. It was different everyday but simple. My guide Larry was exceptional. His knowledge of the jungle, outstanding, and his English was perfect. We made a plan on arriving for what it would like to do in my time. Highlight was the caiman night tour and lily pads.
