Emanuel cooked for us and the food was fresh from their farm. He also organized all our tours in the jungle. The huts at the river are very cute, with terraces, bathrooms, comfortable beds from which you have a direct view to the river day and night. Every day the hosts were cleaning. He created our itineraries for each day. With his help, we saw all kinds of animals in the jungle, and took pictures through his man ocular. The night tour was most fascinating. There are so many unusual insects!  Thank you Savon! We also liked at the pace, wasn't too intense, and there was plenty of time to relax. Food was very good. All three meals. Much more food than we needed. I appreciated the coffee being available early .  The property is beautifully furnished and designed. With local woods. Very comfortable. Enjoy the hammocks.. Had a massage that was exquisite. This is an experience. That's worth every penny!

Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is accessed via a 10-minute ride from the airport then a 25-minute boat ride from Puerto Maldonado port. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

Jaime is a great host who looked after all our needs, delivered meals right to our deck and arranged taxi transfers and tours. It’s a beautiful place to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the jungle.
