We loved our 7 nights stay in the Lagoon Village hotel. It is clear to see the vision, passion and effort that have been put and are still making, just beautiful. Breakfast on the floating restaurant with the jungle backdrop was special. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay very relaxing and wanted for nothing. We all enjoyed the SPA and horse riding. Getting to and from town via tuc tuc for tours to the blue lagoon, waterfalls and thermal baths was easy, fast and inexpensive. Pumarinri Amazon Lodge biedt accommodatie in Chazuta, tegenover de rivier de Huallaga en beschikt over een buitenzwembad en een restaurant. As far as jungle stays go this was unreal! The hotel is outstanding! The location is so beautiful, and the lodges are all so nice. Keep the doors shut to keep the bugs out. Nice to sit on the balcony, watching the river and the cloud forests was magical. The pool was also great! Food was possibly some of the best we ate our entire trip. We were not expecting the food to be SO GOOD! Yes, there are bugs - as someone from the UK this was a hilarious experience as I have never seen crickets and grasshoppers this size before so kept the staff entertained when I would scream at them landing on me :) But this was one of the highlights of the trip. We did a river tour - the guides speak mainly Spanish, but you can still get the jist even if your Spanish is extremely basic (like ours). We also had a translator who was volunteering at the hotel who came along so that was helpful! We saw a sloth on the boat trip, that was really special. Lots of birds and saw some tiny monkeys too.
