Ronaldo was a caring, charming host. He was attentive to our needs, whilst giving us space to relax and rest our weary bodies. The pool was hot, although we didn’t have time to use it, the place was lovely with well kept plants and flowers and decorations. When we were about to leave, Ronaldo offered us bamboo sticks to walk up the last part of the trek to Cabanaconde. The beds were great with memory foam pillows and warm blankets and it was a relief with the hot shower to clean off the days sweat and dust - with shampoo and conditioner there! The food was good and a really good price, and we were able to stalk up on water and snacks before the trek up.

The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated - they seem also very new overall. The food was very good and exactly what we needed after the hike to the location! The family who runs the lodge are very lovely and welcomed us very warmly once we arrived - we also love Pepe the dog!

I have stayed in many austere locations, but this is probably the most simplest place I have paid to stay in. It is beautiful. It is so simple, but also was $12 U.S. for 1 night. If it wasn’t for the mosquitos, I wish I could have stayed for a few more days and just decompressed. The dinner had no options. It came and you either ate it or you didn’t (I’m sure they had a vegetarian option). I liked it though. I’m sorry that I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped out during the stay, but he was awesome. Thank you for making this adventure great!

Το La Granja del Colca είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο που βρίσκεται σε Cabanaconde. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, μπαρ, κήπο και ηλιόλουστη βεράντα. The location was beautiful, espacially the view! The room was also very nice and the restaurant area very cosy. Edwin was super helpfull and very kind, the food was good and we really enjoyed our stay! This is the most beautiful place we have stayed, would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place, super friendly staff that makes sure you are being taken care of, and the view from our room was just breathtaking. They take outstanding care of the property, too, growing variety of flowers, and everything is spotless clean. Their Quinoa restaurant serves the best meals we ve tasted during our three week trip. Το Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge βρίσκεται στο Cabanaconde και περιβάλλεται από πράσινο και λόφους στους πρόποδες της κοιλάδας Sangelle. Προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα και δωρεάν πρωινό. A beautiful ecolodge in the centre of the oasis! The rooms are basic but comfortable, the hosts are extremely kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. Cozy and comfortable, a great place to stay after a long day of trekking or to prepare for the final ascent :)

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Location and how cool it was to have a hot spring next to the river. The staff was very sweet, the mother hugged us as we left it was so cute.
