It was a perfect ending for our hike through the island. Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

The accommodation was beautifully decorated and cosy. It was very comfortable, clean and felt spacious. The location was very ideal for us and felt very central. We had a well-equipped kitchen in our apartment with a stove, microwave, full fridge, tea and coffee facilities etc. which was nice to have access to. The bathroom was modern and clean and had a heated drying wall rack. The apartment had ample space, and had everything we needed for our stay. César was so wonderful and provided great communication especially with the self check-in process (keyless), as well as providing suggestions for our stay and organising our arrival transfer. Erica was also great in arranging our departure transfer! Thank you to the wonderful team for your kind hospitality and for having us!

This is a beautiful accommodation with exceptional view. Everything I needed was on-site, and I was very comfortable. The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Location was excellent for our needs, away from any crowds and in a peaceful area but within a reasonable and pleasant walk along the promenade to local town with good restaurants and bars. The space and facilities within the property were excellent, kitchen had everything we could possibly need, bed extremely comfortable and a really good and luxurious shower and separate bath. The pool and outdoor spaces were perfect with sun on the property for the majority of the day until early evening. The entire place was really clean and attractive and well kept gardens an added bonus. Our host, Richard, was extremely helpful and approachable and responded to any queries promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we return to Madeira.

This location is fantastic if you want a relaxed quiet getaway. The house has everything you would need, TV, high speed internet and a great kitchen. The views were amazing and the location although isolated was within a 5 minute drive of a shop & Cafe.

Το Chalet Tropical βρίσκεται σε Arco da Calheta και διαθέτει δωρεάν WiFi και θέα στη θάλασσα. Έχει επίσης κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. Me and my boyfriend spent a total of 6 days in the Tropical Chalet. We could have stayed there for at least another month. The place's absolutely lovely. Basically it's straight among banana trees and other beautiful tropical plants and flowers. There're very few other houses in the neighborhood and the closest main street's very quiet making the whole area very peaceful. The backyard has a great view over the ocean and the surrounding banana trees. Also, the hammock's a nice touch to the whole experience. The balcony on the first floor's anotheru lovely space and the house itself is functional though not particularly luxurious or equipped. The only thing tricky is maybe the fact that the street to get to the house's very steep and narrow (some taxis refuse to drive down there). The suggestion is to get a car or even better a motorbike. By foot it's nice to walk down to the beach or through the levadas that go along the coastline. Though mind that it's a very long and steep way to get to the nearest supermarket, bar or shop. This is another reason why having a car/motorbike is highly advisable. Overall, a very nice and recommended accommodation for ocean-loving couples/singles seeking a place to enjoy nature and tranquility.
