A quiet, basic, clean bungalow on the beach. Right next to the best cocktail bar: Aqua Bar. We didn’t move from our deck for two days relaxing and dipping in the beach.

Incredible hotel for the price point. Brand new, super clean, comfy bed, large room with desk/table and kitchenette with medium size fridge and sink. The patio is awesome, well-shaped plastic chairs that are quite comfortable and beautiful nature. Miss having morning coffee there. Value: I paid 80% more for similar place on Koh Samui that was farther from beach.

A peaceful location in the south of Ko Lanta. Lovely Chalets with air con and cold water showers. There’s an outside area where you can sit. Very quiet and excellent for good night sleep. There’s a restaurant 400m away with shuttle service where you can eat. We rented a moped on site. Staff is amazing and very friendly!

The setting at Baannai Lake View Resort is very serene, unlike most accommodation in the Ao Nang. The cabins are clean and cute with a lovely view, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant had fantastic food. Free shuttle into town makes up for the distance from the centre. For me not being in the centre of town was a bonus, but I realize some people would not like that.

We had the front hut by the beach and loved it. It was lovely looking out the window to the sand, beach and waves. There was a veranda as well to relax on and soak up the beach vibes. A dream come through. The wooden hut was nice and clean. Ditto with the toilet too. I left my medication behind when I left, and called the resort once I arrived on the mainland. The staff was wonderful in finding my important medication and sent it over by boat to Krabi. I am very grateful to the staff for this.

Bargain basement accommodation close to the beach but not a beachfront resort, actually not a resort in the traditional sense of the word either. The area is very quiet so ideal if you want to do nothing all day. However, it is well served in terms of shops and restaurants. Rather than a room you get a wooden cabin with a small verandah. These are centred around a small pool with a few sunbeds. Breakfast is acceptable but not particularly inspiring. We booked to stay here a week but left after four days.

I loved this place the beach is beautiful very quiet with a few lovely beach view restaurants very nice food there & around the area. We stayed in a beach hut it was very noisy at night but put some music on & it was fine.

as a woman travelling alone, I was a little anxious about staying in a "hut by the beach". however I always felt wonderfully secure, with Paul on hand in one of the other chalets nearby at all times. it had everything I needed in facilities, Wi-Fi good enough for zoom calls, small kitchen etc. there were even free laundry facilities on site. the beach was kept clean by Paul and his staff and it was a pleasure to spend 6 weeks there.
