Set in George in the Western Cape region and Outeniqua Pass reachable within 19 km, Buff & Fellow Eco Cabins offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. The accommodation has a hot tub. We had a wonderful holiday in the newly built villa (lodge 9), just above the lodges. Our personal highlight of the Garden Route! We travelled about 4 hours from Cape Town, the arrival and departure was absolutely smooth! (I would suggest a car) The villas are situated on a large area, surrounded by buffalo, various antelope species and also 2 rhinos! We were able to observe the animals at close quarters around the clock. The villas are incredibly beautiful, with a hot tub on the terrace, outdoor showers and barbecue areas and even a pizza oven! In principle, the villas are self-catering, there is a small self-service shop on the premises, and you can also order various food boxes (barbecues, burgers, pizza) and have them delivered - all highly recommended! Another small highlight was the guided tour with the owner of the farm around the grounds followed by breakfast. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The Botelierskop Game Reserve is also nearby (about 20 minutes) and is also recommended if you want to go on further safaris. We were completely satisfied and would definitely come again, 10/10!

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails.

Shuttle services are available on request. Plettenberg Bay Airport is 85 km away, while the Port Elizabeth and George airports are both within 180 km. We love it all. Beautiful rooms. Friendly people and good food. If you want to treat yourself this is the place to go. Very special. It was our 4th visit.

Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. Everything was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were great, the safari was amazing as well, we saw the big 5, even though it’s a small reserve compared to others, the animals were scattered and it was difficult to find them. Lovely experience, will definitely come again.

With mountain views, Crags Country Lodge is located in The Crags and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Very beautiful property! Beautiful setup. Loved the garden aesthetic. Very ideal for couples. Peaceful and soothing. Comfortable beds. Towels neatly done every day. Constant checks by the hosts to make you feel comfortable. Food was also good. Great service by the staff! Great attitude by staff, making the place warm!

Set in Wilderness and only 1.1 km from Wilderness Beach, Serenity Ocean Lodge offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features river and quiet street views, and is 16 km from Lakes Area National Park. The accommodation features free shuttle service, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Perfect place! Wilderness is small and you can walk anywhere you from. Recommended for sure!

With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Everything was perfect! Absolutely perfect! The elephants are majestic and the whole atmosphere at the lodge is incredible! Found myself sitting staring at the elephants for hours. Breakfast was very good. And the staff… Best staff I ever met! Each and every one of them is amazing and made our stay even more perfect. My top recommendation for sure!

The air-conditioned chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are available in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We really enjoyed our vaca. Highly recommend.

At the chalet complex, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. All was great! Great tents, great views, great time!

Wow what a gem of a place: each self contained room has a kitchen, so self-catering is an option, or dinner at a very good restaurant. The hotel is on a beautiful property; the attention to detail is evident everywhere. The hotel is personal - staff are attentive and go the extra mile - and we loved how it’s decorated. We will definitely be back. One thing to note is that it is on an Island, so you can only get there by ferry.
