Very clean and everything is in working order. Beautiful surroundings and Chalets are private. Good braai facilities. The manager Sanet is an excellent manager, very helpful. She went out of her way to help us after we forgot an item there.

Each air-conditioned cottage is individually decorated and offers a large, fully-equipped kitchen. The beds are made up with percale linen and 100% cotton throws, and each has a mosquito net. Bath sheets, bath robes, a hairdryer and guest amenities are provided for your comfort and convenience. 2 Cottages are wheelchair friendly and equipped. We stayed for two nights in cottage 4. Huge accommodation that was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The view was amazing! Also- we loved Cheyenne, the property dog!

Each A-Frame chalet is built from stone, timber and thatch. It features rustic décor with hand made furniture and wood finishes. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom includes a shower. We were enjoying all the animals around and very closely to see.

It was a charming place, beautifully decorated from the main building to the suites just on the outside, which were perfectly equipped if you choose to stay a couple of nights. Just get out of the city and watch the stars, make a wood fire. The conceive of the place and the friendliness of the staff was very welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this to any travelers seeking a place to rest. Couples or family’s even for a single travel. I brought the whole family and they were very accommodating with pre booking and making reservations.

Peaceful and serene. Additional amenities like braai sout and firelighters were provided which was above expectation.

We had such a lovely stay at Mountain Pastures Game Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which made us feel right at home. The apartment was absolutely perfect – beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s rest on very complete beds. It was a very cold winter’s day, but we kept cozy with a crackling fire in the fireplace and the added comfort of electric blankets that made our beds wonderfully warm. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding fresh milk and some delicious rusks waiting for us in the kitchen. One of the highlights was spending time in the guest lounge, where we were able to chat and get to know other guests – such a lovely touch that made the experience feel personal and homely. All in all, it was a memorable stay in a beautiful setting, and we would gladly recommend Mountain Pastures Game Lodge to anyone looking for a welcoming and peaceful getaway.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Wagon Wheel Country Lodge is located just of the N1 highway and 5 minutes' drive from the center of Beaufort West.

The individually decorated rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. On site restaurant offers good quality at reasonable prices. Room was clean and comfortable with all basic amenities. The location is excellent for over-nighting on a trip to Cape Town
