The location is perfect, surrounded by beauty and convenience, and the rooms are wonderfully comfortable. The service was beyond expectations – warm, caring, and truly genuine. The meals were absolutely delicious, prepared with so much care and flavor. Our ranger was incredibly dedicated and attentive, making every moment of our trip special and memorable. Every staff member we met was kind, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. This weekend wasn’t just a stay – it was an experience we will treasure forever.

De Ivory Tree Game Lodge ligt in het Wildreservaat Pilanesberg. Guests could choose from the menu and also use the buffet. Both lunch and dinner were catered with starter, main course and dessert and the quality of the food was very good. For participants in the game drives, a short refreshment was provided in the morning and a tasty snack with a wide range of drinks at 4 o'clock. The restaurant and terrace was also very tastefully decorated and the furniture was comfortable. Service was particularly attentive and friendly. The bungalow was extremely clean, very nicely decorated and equipped with all comforts and facilities. (Nice outdoor shower and spacious sitting bath) The bed had a mosquito net and the bungalow had a small outdoor terrace. The resort's swimming pool was clean and the sun loungers were comfortable and placed so that one had enough privacy. Finally, the game drives were extremely well organised, with well-versed guides and in sturdy and comfortable cars. What made the resort really special was the absolute cleanliness of everything and the friendliness of the staff.

Breakfast was amazing and so I thought they were great value for money and saved us loads of time.

Service and kitchen is exceptional, Neo and team are awsome. Mixologysts are happy to go for any requests.. We loved our stay with the Mbazo Team!!

From the moment you arrive, every single person of the staff in the lodge is wonderful, they make you feel at home immediately. The lodge itself is also great. Is not a new lodge but it shows they are trying maintain it well and update the parts necessary. The food was very good also, we had the opportunity to experience the buffet style meals (when the lodge is busierr) and also ‘a la carte’ version, both were great! I want to insist again on the staff and our game drive ranger, they were all wonderful!
