I had really nice time at Gite Magdaz. The family are very kind and warm they made my stay super comfortable. I met Abdeouha at the river rondamly and he show me around,it was soper nice. And also he took me to the Mt Tiglist was worthy experience.I am really greatful and thankful for the time to him. I liked this village a lot, people are friendly and peace and quiet in the natural. There are so many path to walk around and water was super beautiful. Also they have many farm around the river it was nice to see their life style it's simple but so beautiful, it was my dream life. I hope I will come back oneday :)

We were a group of 4 friends crossing the High Atlas by foot! After we slept a few days in mountain shelters and caves we made it to Megdaz and it felt like heaven! Mohammed picked us up with a car and brought us to Dar Megdaz. And it was like heaven for us. Mohammed is such a nice person, he showed us around the village and explained us every part of Berber culture. His mother cooked for us and we had the most delicious food of all our Morocco trip. Mohammed and his family are so warm and friendly people! And the guest house was really beautiful, the terrace with a nice view and the comfy beds. If you come to the High Atlas, Dar Megdaz should be a priority on the list for you!

I liked the atmosphere and people around. The property is operated by the family that lives in there. The owner is a very nice person. I have been there already twice and I hope I will have an opportunity to return there again.

Absolutely greatest experience from the Morocco trip! Lovely terrace, hot water, own bathroom, everything super clean. Abdoul is the best host ever. He care about guests with love and make the place very pleasant and beautiful, we felt like at home. He told us everything about life in the village and all the time was there for us and our needs. This is a very special place. We cannot recommend it enough for an authentic stay in a more remote mountain village! It's due to the location and most of all our host Abdoul. Abdoul, who speaks fluent English, makes you feels right at home and takes the time to tell you about his life, family and the village. He was also kind to show us around in the village from which we learned alot. It felt so genuine. The rooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and it's quiet at night. We slept well here! The food at the guesthouse is some of the best and most plentiful we have had.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, chez l'habitant de compagne is a recently renovated guest house situated in Tamensourt, 49 km from Kasbah Amridil.

We spent one night here during our trip across the High Atlas. The owner speaks English and was very pleasant. The accommodation is very nice and I recommend it also for a group of more people, as the common room is spacious. The house has a nice garden. It is a quiet, clean and pleasant place to relax.
