A delightful house on the edge of a charming village. Our hostess couldn't do enough for us to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Our room was modern and well appointed with views from the balcony over the lake. Dinner and breakfast on the terrace were delicious. Secure parking for our moto was a bonus. Hospitality as it should be done

Very cozy house at the top of a hill with a great view of the lake. The rooms were clean and offered everything we needed. I loved how peaceful the surrounding area was and that the accomodation had a garden where our kids could play. The food was also absolutely delicious (highly recommend the traditional mix - three different small traditional dishes which just tasted amazingly). Even though the staff didn't speak much English, it was possible to communicate any extra wish we had. I can only recommend this place to families with children and to people who like good food.

Hidden gem indeed! Modern interiors, breathtaking views from the private balcony, delicious breakfast, the fruits and veggies were so tasty. The hosts were super welcoming and made my stay even more beautiful. Pet-friendly 🐶 I totally recommend this place. Parking inside the church yard. Must visit Villa 43 Restaurant in front of them for food! Beautiful garden.

Absolutely incredible stay! The most idyllic location with the most peaceful and relaxing outdoor area. Rosa is the kindest and most gracious host. This is a beautiful family run accommodation. We felt so welcome and the food was delicious. We didn't want to leave, and we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. I cannot recommend this place enough. The rooms were comfortable and we felt so at peace spending our days relaxing by the water. It truly is gorgeous here. Thank you Rosa and your family you are the best!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila 43. The entire place is very well renovated/new and very clean! The couple that runs the guesthouse is very kind and welcoming. We had dinner there the night we arrived and the food was really excellent. If you go, don't hesitate to try the fish from the lake. The breakfast the next morning was also top-notch. The rooms are nicely designed and comfortable with beautiful views of the lake.

One of the best places we have stayed and we have travelled to many countries. Amazing location and setting right on the lake. Home cooked breakfast in the garden each morning and the hosts were so nice and friendly. Views from our balcony were world class. Short walk to restaurants and shops, everything you need is close by. Recommend this place 100%

I had a fantastic stay here. The accommodation was superb, offering free parking and a hassle-free check-in process. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Our room boasted a stunning lake view, was impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful, and we savored a delightful traditional breakfast. Without a doubt, I'll be choosing to stay here again next time I'm in town.

The location was excellent for our needs, quiet and also close to the main road. Very helpful staff, despite the language barrier they immediately helped with all our needs. The restaurant which is part of the hotel served very good food even outside of lunchtime hours. I definitely recommend the hotel.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night. Fantastic lake and mountain views. Like stepping back in time. It's a way to visit the real Albania, with all its simple charms as well as flaws. Definitely not a fancy or Disneyland-type place. Has a few decent places for a lakefront meal or drink. Just walk around town to admire its authenticity and be sure to walk up to the rocky peninsula for the outstanding views (you'll likely see some sheep, donkeys and chickens long the way).

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but...

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but fine for any reasonably fit person. Good to see the ruins of the monastery and the mosaic, follow the red and white stripes. Then through the green gate to the end of the promontory where there is an old pill box with views across the Lake Orhid. Hotel Leza stocks a wheat beer more to our taste if you like ale. Lin is a pretty village one of the oldest inhabited in Europe.

Nice little village on the shore of Ohrid lake.

Nice little village on the shore of Ohrid lake. We stayed there 2 nights but we could have stayed 1 more night. There are some nice walks to do in the village. One along the coast and and another one uphill to reach a bunker dating from the communist regime. The place is convenient for those who need to catch a plane in Ohrid airport. Just make sure to leave in good time due to potential delays at the border between Albania and North Macedonia.

A wonderful, quiet place with what you would call "soft...

A wonderful, quiet place with what you would call "soft tourism" appeal. I do hope they keep the village like it is and don't make the same mistake as they have made in Ksamil (see my other evaluations).

Lin is a charming village nestled beside Lake Ohrid. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, with friendly and genuinely hospitable residents. As you drive down the national road leading to Pogradec, the village of Lin appears below. This picturesque peninsula is home to hundreds of locals. As you approach, the vibrant red roofs of its quaint homes stand out. Notably, one of the oldest mosaics in the Eastern European region, dating back to the 4th century, is located here. Its detailed designs and beauty seamlessly complement the surrounding landscape!
