The guesthouse is not only set in an idealic setting at the base of the mountain with spectacular scenery, but it is moments from the trail. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!

The staff was adorable, the food was good, in good quantity and for a fair price. The rooms were quiet and comfy, with a great view. A nice little terrasse in the back to have a drink of your own. Well located next to the only small shop around and close to the river bathing area. Would highly recommend

Location. Janet went out of her way to connect me with other people who were hiking with a guide. Rooms and facilities are great, large, clean and stunning views. Meals and having a drink in the restaurant were great. I loved this place and team and can’t recommend it highly enough if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Valbona.

Excellent location with modern looking rooms, very close to the church and start of the trail to the Blue Eye. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing and consistent (milk, honey and fig jam were absolutely stunning). Also there are two restaurants at a walking distance for dinner options. I made a last-minute booking and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The deal was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Visiting Valbona for the first time, I couldn't have asked for a better location. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it.
