Great breakfast and a big room. Location…right in front of the Mirabelle Palace and bus stops. The person at reception (or a concierge) helped me a lot when I had a trouble with a taxi service provider. He kindly called the vendor to make sure that he pays back my money.

The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. One of the staff told me that it was more than 300 years old. The room was a good size and everything was supper clean. The room was decorated beautifully and the balcony overlooks into the gorgeous garden. The breakfast was served in the garden, which was really magical, and it had a very good selection of vegetarian food.

Gentle Hide Designhotel is a wonderful boutique hotel located near the Salzach river and a stone throw away to Mirabell Gardens and Getreidegasse, a street lined with shops and restaurants. The hotel is also very near the old town and is close to Makartsteg Bridge often called “Love Lock Bridge”. The hotel is owned and managed by Vivienne and her crew of excellent service staffs (Elena, Viktoria, Nico, Anastasia are among some of them). The staffs were friendly and always helpful. We booked a king sized room which was located on 1st floor. There is elevator access to every floor. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated in black, white and grey theme. They have an excellent breakfast spread. I would say one of the better ones we had in Austria. You can get your eggs done the way you like it with your choice of toppings. They serve daily avocados too and don’t forget to try their apple carrot ginger juice.

Elixhausen is a small village, connected by bus (or by taxi) to the nearby city of Salzburg around 20 minutes away. It's got a couple of nice restaurants, including one serving traditional Austrian food and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The accommodation was spacious and clean.

The accommodation was spacious and clean. There was a lot of equipment in the kitchen. The owners were accommodating, and in view of the bad weather, they offered us a free extension of our stay by one day, which unfortunately we could not use.

Hotel was out of this world; ambience, views, staff, rooms, space (both inside and outside) were stunning. Staff couldn't do enough to help for us throughout our stay. Bedroom was ample size for a family of 3, and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on. Views from the hotel and the spa were out of this world, bus stop just outside the hotel with a regular service into town. The spa was amazing, and much needed after a day sightseeing.

I can recommend this accommodation for everyone. The communication with Isabella and Felix was smooth. They were kind and helpful. The accommondation was clean, and also comfortably. Fully equipped. Calm and Quiet. Salzburg is around 10min drive from Elixhausen.

Charming hotel, eclectic mixture of the traditional and the new. Excellent breakfast, great spa area and romantic garden. Nice staff. They speak English well. Getting into Salzburg is easy even by bus. There is a good Italian restaurant nearby.
