Gästhaus Krenn is a gem! The location is so beautiful and charming. We felt welcomed from the start and got a complimentary upgrade to their apartment number 3 in the Residence. The apartment had the most amazing views of any accommodation we stayed in. Great views overlooking the region, mountains and the castle. We ate at the restaurant and wanted to go back again but it was fully booked. The breakfast was delivered to us and it had variety of local bread, cheese, jams etc. The staff kindness and friendliness are unmatched. We really loved our time there and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great location in a small, quiet town with amazing view but still with several restaurant options. Superclean place, the owners are really nice, the food is very deliscious, wide range of options for breakfast and it's great that you can have also dinner in the hotel. Amazing place with so many things to do right onsite for pre or post-skiing time. Billiards, a pool, ping pong, a bowling alley! We loved it. Just 15 minutes to the less-crowded Hauser Kaibling mountain of Schladming. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread each morning! Great places nearby such as Haeuserl im Wald with their own curling rink.

My experience at Hotel Tauplitzerhof surpassed all expectations. The exceptional hospitality truly elevated our ski getaway in Tauplitz. Alex, Romella, and Anna extended such warmth throughout our stay, going above and beyond by preparing meals outside of regular restaurant hours following our ski sessions. The restaurant offered delectable dishes, with plenty of vegetarian options available. The burger, in particular, is a standout and a definite must-try. The rooms were immaculate and spacious for us with a great view Tauplitz ski resort stands out as a hidden gem among ski resorts, offering affordability without compromising on quality. Our enjoyable experience was largely thanks to Alex and his dedicated team.
