We enjoyed the cleanliness and calming atmosphere of the interiors. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy. The rooms had balconies, which can be a great hangout place, if the weather allows it. Everything was quiet, we barely noticed there were other guests (there were). The staff was very helpful and kind. We loved breakfasts and the room service was also great. We had no problem or felt any obstruction in using the hotel's amenities (a pool, wellness, gym). As a bonus, Kiki the house cat is cute and cuddly. A small lake right in front of the hotel and a stream behind it make interesting points to get you out for a small walk, which we enjoyed. The hotel is close to the highway and our ride to the Salzburg city centre didn't take longer than 30 minutes.

Came to Salzburg to celebrate a birthday and go see all the Sound of Music locations, which was possible with this home! The stay is located in a quaint, peaceful area where you can wake up and go for a nice walk and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains right from the property. Usually not a morning person at all, but we found ourselves having a morning walk at 7am every single morning during our stay because of how relaxing the area is. The German border is also a very short walk away from the house so if you want to be in two countries at once, you can do that at the bridge on the border! It’s the perfect place to slow down and relax. I especially loved being so close to the local farmer’s markets - fresh produce, friendly people, and a real sense of community (though the language barrier was there.) The home itself was cozy, clean, and welcoming. Regina was kind enough to leave us wine and decorations after hearing about us celebrating a 30th birthday, which made the stay even nicer and homey! Communication was always very clear, fast and friendly, never had any issues or worries. As much as the stay is a bit further out from the city, it's not at all difficult to use the buses to get there and back. We enjoyed the stay so much we felt homesick even though we only stayed for 4 nights. A strong recommendation to stay at this home!
