Really nice hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms, perfectly located in the center of the town, near the train station and the lake. There is an excellent, traditional restaurant in the hotel, with friendly hosts and tasty meals. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful! Great location and view of the lake, but wished we had booked a room with a balcony and view. Room and facilities were very clean. A bit impersonal as there was no staff in the evening but overall great stay.

An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery. Loads to see and do. Lovely food. Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card.

You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card. A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ). The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and...

It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, if you are into mountain biking, and the Grosser Donnerkogel, if you are into via ferratas. Being in Zell am See gave us the possibility to do multiple things withing a 1h driving radius.

Zell am See is rightly popular because it is uperbly located on the most beautiful lake, with mountain scenery that changes with the light throughout the day. it is also makes an excellent centre for touring. special mention must be made of the Kaprun Glacier and the Kaprun Reservoir. Simply unmissable.

Views of the lake with the best mountain backgrounds are from the other end of the lake - the most northerly. We didn't do it, but it looks like a good place to hire bikes or electric bikes to see more of the lakeside.

We arrived at 1pm and they allowed us for early check-in, which is a surprise. The room design was exceptional and comfortable. The dining area for breakfast and dinner was a surprise too, it's so beautiful. The breakfast was prepared in a nicely way and instantly increases your appetite. The view on the lake to the Zell am see city center was great also, especially at night when the lights on the other side are turned on.

The hotel is located on the shore of the Zeller See and you can admire the snowy Kitzsteinhorn from your balcony or even from your bed. In the evening you can see the lights from the Zell am See resort reflected beautifully on the surface of the lake. The appartment is very bright and warm, soundproof, on the third floor. The private kitchen is very useful. The appartment has two separate balconies with view on the lake.

The Gast Hous Hotel is well located in Zell Am See. Very clean and very well presented. Staff are exceptional, and management were first Class. Breakfast served was also fabulous. I would like to thank each staff member and the Manager for their hospitality and continuous support during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we revisit Austria.

Hotel looks like very new, apartments modern and nice, clean. Perfect servis and great breakfast. You need to count with 15 mins walk to hill in case you will not use car to visit downtown. Swimming pool great. Price include ZELL AM SEE-KAPRUN SUMMER CARD, which save a lot of money to visit numerous costly atraction around.
