Perfect for our stay at Alexandra on an exceptionally hot Saturday night. We enjoyed the pool very much. We grew up staying in Motor Inns like this all over Australia. Lovely hosts. I got the feeling that nothing would be too much trouble. What you see in the photos is what you get, clean & comfortable. Walking distance to an excellent evening meal & breakfast the next morning. Have recommended it to family members & others. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Thanks Cassie & Bade.

Neat little rooms in a property in the heart of town that has been functioning as a hotel for over 150 years. Fantastic balcony available to all residents. A popular pub downstairs with lovely outdoor facilities and a great menu, including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The inexpensive rates include a basic self serve breakfast which was ideal for our needs. The hotel and pub staff were all keen to make our stay relaxing and comfortable.

Location right in township, clean, bed was awesome and sooo comfortable. I liked that the hotel is environmentally aware, ie: using newspaper as a bin liner. Loved the old worlde feel but still modern amenities. Appreciated having a room with glass door leading onto balcony. New owners very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay at The Alexandra Hotel again next time travelling through.

The verandah at the front has a beautiful view - a great spot to watch the sunset. The pair of sheep in the field opposite were sweet and friendly. This location suited us - we were doing the Great Victorian Bike Trail. This spot is an ideal base for that. Alexandra has good shopping and a very handy supermarket.

Great location to explore the area around Alexandra and Eildon if you aren't camping at the lake. Nice studio cabin with the kitchen, dining and bed in one big room. Very quiet despite the proximity of the highway.
