Loved location as very convenient to visiting beautiful Clare Valley . Spoilt for choice in regard to lovely winery restaurants and nearby cafes . Our visit was only overnight but have a longer trip booked for next year to ride the Riesling Trail from Clare to Auburn .

Auburn is a quiet village at the southern end of the Clare...

Auburn is a quiet village at the southern end of the Clare valley which makes it a great base for winery adventures and walking around - it is on the Riesling trail. There is a pub and a restaurant as well as a supermarket. The Rising Sun hotel does good dinners (just don’t expect your rare steak to come rare).

Auburn is known as the Gateway to the Clare Valley Wine Region. Very handy base to visit multiple wineries & small, historic hamlets in the Valley. The Terrior Auburn Restaurant is a must-try experience!

We had an overnight stay in Auburn for a quick business trip, so we weren't there to look around at all. However, it is obviously a beautiful area! We had dinner at Sevenhill Hotel - fantastic venue. Our accommodation at Lyreen's was excellent and we will be remembering this B&B for future visits.

Very private, "quiet" & centrally located. The room was renovated old school, with a large new bathroom. I'd say the building is late 1800's Auburn is at the start of the Clare Valley wine area so from there everything is an adventure & very easy to get too. There's a great cafes, restaurant, community style IGA & pub all within 100mtr.. It a great base location to start your Clare Valley wine adventure & perfect for a romantic trip away

There are only a handful of dog friendly accommodation options in Clare. The hideaway is exceptional, cosy, well equipped and perfectly located in the gorgeous Auburn, surrounded by historic buildings, great wineries and the feel of old Australia.

Location was excellent, right in the centre of Auburn. The Rising Sun has a country pub feel, excellent dining room with good food. Also has free off street parking. Staff are outstanding, particularly the helpful and knowledgeable Adelaide.
