We supplied our own food. Barney Creek is quiet & secluded. There is no internet & very limited phone access, so keep that in mind. We stayed in the Hill Station Cottage, very old & quaint.

We loved everything about the property. The staff were just so nice and though the property is an older establishment, we found it comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the Pavilion Tavern where we had a lovely meal. To have the courtesy bus pick us up from the resort and bring us back when we were ready was an added bonus. We stayed two nights. I wish it had been longer. We almost didn’t book because of a number of bad reviews. I’m happy we did book Kooralbyn.. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

A beautiful, tranquil location overlooking the valley. The house and rooms were spacious with everything you need for a day or a weeks stay. The house and facilities were immaculately clean. Being pet friendly with an enclosed yard was a real bonus. The hosts always provided quick responses to our enquires. The complimentary inclusion of local produce was a lovely and delicious touch.

It was clean and welcoming. Little touches were great. Lovely view and lots of space. Very comfortable bed and nice shower. Very short walk to the pub and resort for a swim. Close to lookout and not too far to bush walks. Staff were great with communication even though I wasn't.

After a busy week in Brisbane, I needed a place to relax and complete some reports. Kim and Dean's cottage was the perfect to unwind, with stunning views across the property and the distant mountains. The bed was super comfortable, with quality linens. I spent most of my time on the deck. The area is fenced from the nearby paddock, and I was frequently visited by inquisitive cows and the friendly horses, Rosie and Ellie. Kim and Dean are terrific hosts and it was a pleasure to spend time with Dean in his workshop and watch him harness and drive the dray horses. I will return in winter next time, so I can use the wood burner.
