1. We stayed in Top Shack which is a modern, well-maintained, and extremely clean 3-bedroom house. 2. There are 2 toilets in Top Shack which is a must for four of us. The bathroom is warm with heater on which is essential in chilly winter. 3. All 3-bedrooms are comfortable, with heater facilities. 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with very clean and high quality cooking utensils. 5. We loved the view from the sitting room which is very pleasing. The furnishings and the beautiful and simple decorations of the house added a touch of class. 6. The location is close to Freycinet National Park, only over 5 km or 7 minutes drive. 7. There are simple cafes and restaurants in the area, not too far away to get there by car. 8. Hope we could stay a bit longer there as it is so warm and relaxing.

We loved the resort from the second we arrived. Loved the key pad room access, views of the bay from the balcony, layout of the rooms and the hospitality from the staff. Dinner was exceptional and the breakfast each morning was delicious.

The beach house was exquisite! The view of the coastline was just stunning! The house is beautifully decorated, and comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked! The beach is a short walk down a pathway from the house! We couldn’t have enjoyed that easy peaceful feeling more!!

Beautifully appointed 2 bedroom home. Bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious, modern and clean. Excellent kitchen and laundry facilities. Comfortable lounge room with a view to die for. Walking distance to General Store. Close to everything we wanted to see in Freycinet National Park. Absolutely lovely - highly recommended!

The location is perfect, right above the little pub/store/bottle shop and has a little view of the bay. The cabins are staggered so you are not looking right at your neighbor too. The beds were very comfortable, just wish it had a king size since my husband is a bed hog. :) Also the national park is just a short drive away with lots of beautiful hikes.

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great...

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great pastries, service with a smile. The roads are in excellent condition and you can drive all day without encountering issues. I would suggest a visit to Bicheno for lobster rolls (Lobster shack) and oysters (Marine farm). The walk up to the viewing platform for Wineglass Bay was worth the 400+ metres of steps. The sun is super strong, plan ahead.

We visited outside the peak periods so tours were much more pleasant than full boats and queues. Loved the location of our accommodation away from the township. Be aware that there are limited supply choices in the general stores.

We have walked the Wineglass Bay route previously (recommend...

We have walked the Wineglass Bay route previously (recommend) and this time we decided to try the Pennicott cruise. The cruise was fantastic and I highly recommend. All crew members were great and the meal provided in the standard ticket was generous and delicious. The onboard drinks/snacks were also reasonably priced. We visited in June and we were lucky enough to see whales as well as seals on our journey. Freycinet Lodge was lovely for sundowners.

Highly recommend Kayaking we had the most wonderful time and the best guide you could ever hope for. So knowledgable and so much fun. We stopped halfway at a deserted beach for coffee and biscuits. Perfect!

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay.

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay. I spent the day in Freycinet National Park. I walked from the Visitor Centre to the Wineglass Bay Carpark via the Walk and Cycle track. Then did the Wineglass Bay lookout via Hazards Beach circuit. Beautiful views, great walk.

The Lodge is beautiful, service and food is first class.

The Lodge is beautiful, service and food is first class. The staff at the Visitor Information Center were very helpful. I would like to mention the cleanliness of the National Park and I would expect all the areas would be the same as the walk to Wineglass Bay.

Whilst it looks tiny on the outside it’s quite spacious. There was plenty of plates, cutlery and cooking items. The bed and pillows were comfortable, much nicer than most hotel pillows that are flat. The check in and checkout was very easy. Location was great if you wanted to walk along Sandpiper beach or drive to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park. The cabin retains heat throughout the day and it is comfortable and cosy - however it is quite chilly at night if the heater isn’t on.

The ocean view was exceptional. Complete privacy. Comfortable interiors. Great outdoor furniture that allows you to enjoy the serenity. Only a 15 minute drive to the centre of Coles Bay. Highly recommend.
