It was a really nice and sunny room with 2 windows. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful location, less than 5 minutes to the beach. And the staff was so friendly and helpful! If I come to Devonport again I will come back! :)

Booked a 3-night stay in a Standard Cabin Bungalow. Our stay was enjoyable and exceptional as it totally exceeded our expectations. There is a free parking space right next to each bungalow, so it was very easy to get our stuff in and out of the car to and from the cabin. The cabin was clean and well-equipped with everything we need. Stepping into the cabin, first is the living/dining area cum kitchen. It was fitted with a stove and kitchenware (possible to cook if you want to), microwave oven (quick heating/cooking, which we used for our brekkie and dinner), large wash basin with cleaning equipment, pantry (with coffee/tea and water boiler) and freezer/refrigerator (Better than most hotels! We got to store our ice cream in it). The round dining table was large enough for 4-6 guests and there was a couch for lounging while watching the TV. There were two bedrooms - one on each side of the living/dining area. One was fitted with two bunk beds (sleeps 4 people). Bunk beds look rather small for larger-sized adults but was alright for us. The other bedroom had a king/queen sized bed with a huge wardrobe that spans the breadth of the room. The beds came with cleaned sheets and duvets/quilts which were perfect for the cold weather at night. I myself ended up sleeping on the couch after watching TV as it was comfy too. The air conditioning and heating was good and kept us warm throughout the night. The toilet was clean and fitted with day lighting, warm heated lighting and ventilation fan. It was very spacious in the toilet, making it super easy for changing up. Under the wash basin was a professional hair-dryer which we absolutely enjoyed using. The shower area was also clean and fitted with a hand-held shower head. Lastly, the price for this 3-night stay for our family is really unbeatable for the number of pax. We had a next-door neighbour who raved about it for two days too HAHA. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed their stay thoroughly...

Great spot with beautiful interiors. Enjoyed the stay, in quite riverview access from the backyard. Free extra activities like mini golf, food options in cafe (charge). They gave us complimentary coffee, which was very sweet gesture. Bathrooms were very big and comfy. The beddings were cozy and comfortable.

The reason for our visit was to attend an event 20 mins out of Devonport, so we didn't see a lot Devonport itself. What we did see was excellent. Plenty of shops, coffee, food, supermarkets. Did not have time to really explore, so save that for another day.

We stayed in Devonport for 6 days—a beautiful town—and visited many places including Mersey Bluff, Sheffield murals, Guide Falls, Coles Beach, Cradle Mountain, Don River Railway, Cataract Gorge, Nut Chairlift, Dip Falls, Leven Canyon, and the Tasmanian Arboretum.

Great walking/bike tracks along the river. Everything close to hand. Several lovely beaches nearby. Lots of things to do and natural scenery all along the North West Coast. Plenty of good places to eat.

Devonport is well located to do further sight seeing.

Devonport is well located to do further sight seeing. I didn't get to see much of the immediate township, however travel along the north coast was great to easily get to places such as Ulverstone, Penguin and Burnie. Launceston is only 100 kilometres in the other direction, plus places such as Sheffield inland are within easy reach and well worth a visit.

Stayed at the Argosy arriving in Devonport off The Spirit of Tasmania and the night before return firstly due to the 3 minute drive to the terminal Convenient. The bottle shop is next door, has a guest laundry, clean, comfy beds and parking is good. The hotel connected has really good pub meals and the water is straight across the road for strolls. Will definitely stay here on my next visit Thumbs up Argosy !!

When we arrived unfortunately the hotel is not disability accessible. Staff member Zach was amazing and extremely helpful offering different options to see if he could make it work. As we couldn’t get up the stairs Zach asked his manager to assist and he arrange for us to stay at there other hotel within their chain. Big Thankyou to Zach and his manager for helping us with our stay in Davenport

The Novotel is a very modern hotel, well located in Devonport and easy to access by car. The room was large and well appointed. There were bar and dining/breakfast facilities on-site. The front desk was well staffed and staff were keen to assist with any issues.
