So relaxing, tucked away with views of the lovely forth river and surrounding rural landscape. Being warmed by the outside fire whilst watching the sunset sky change hues was a wonderful start to the weekend. A very comfy bed, and I loved the choice of an inside bathroom or outside toilet with a view! A beautiful walk down the country lane to the famous forth pub, so convenient!

Elimatta Hotel has all the necessary items (hair dryer, microwave, heater, air conditioner, etc.). The room here is very comfortable and clean, and the staff here are amiable and help us enthusiastically. In addition, this place is close to other entertainment places in the city (especially near the city center), so it is convenient for travel.

Beautiful accommodation and from first contact Glen and Yvonne were friendly and helpful ensuring we easily found our way. The property is large and well equipped including amongst other things, freshly made bread and everything needed for breakfast. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

My experience at this hotel was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with a genuine and warm kindness. Every detail of the service reflected their commitment to making our stay special. Additionally, the hotel’s surroundings are magical; immersed in nature, the place invites introspection and a deep connection with the environment. Its mystical and serene atmosphere allowed me to disconnect from the outside world and fully recharge. We loved everything . Perfect location for exploring the area including cradle mountain, little penguin and platypus spotting and tons more. Fab little town . Everything in walking distance . Nice brewery 6 mins stroll . The apartment sites by the river and is perfect . Well equipped, modern , comfortable, peaceful , immaculate, excellent outside space and lovely responsive host . Far exceeded our expectations and would def recommend . We have used self catering for over 30 years and this one is def one of our favourites. Sue u are a great host thanks .

    We used Forth River Cottage as a base to explore activities around the area, but unfortunately that meant we got to spend very little time in Forth itself. It was a very small town which we'd like to explore more next time we visit.
