We were very late to check in due to a medical emergency. Keys were left in a lock box and easy to find. Rooms were super clean and amazingly spacious.

Location of this place is excellent, it only took around 20 minutes in a taxi from the airport. Also there's a pub about 200 metres away which is great. The room itself was spacious, clean and the bed was really comfortable. A massive thanks to Leanne who responded quickly to my queries and also sorted me out a late check out which I'm really grateful for.

Kingston Hotel had extremely large rooms and was on the...

Kingston Hotel had extremely large rooms and was on the opposite block to Coles supermarket and other shops. The rooms were separate from the hotel which enabled a very quiet sleep. Shiploads and Chemist etc were just outside the door approx 50m an easy walk. Didn't get a chance to see anything else.

Spacious room, all basic amenities available- microwave, fridge, tv, cutlery, kettle and toaster. Had a seperate sofa and dining table which is well placed. Very helpful receptionist, check-in after hours was hassle free and provided late check out too. Coles is right opposite which is great, location is a little far from city centre (10-15mins drive)but this is a good budget friendly and hygienic option. Exteriors are okay, was disappointed but once I saw the room was very happy. 4/5 overall!

I used my room at the kingston Hotel as my base as I was touring around the local area. It was in a prime spot, if you enjoy shopping this is the spot for you, for me it was all about travelling around. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Also so quiet, I was very surprised by this. The restaurant the staff was lovely and the food fantastic. Very family friendly with an area just for kids to have fun. Totally enjoyed out stay there and will be returning very soon.

A growing area with ample shopping and other convenient facilities,such as restaurants, fast food outlets, bus station etc., all within a short walk. An efficient bus service to cater for trips to the city of Hobart. The township is handy to Kingston Beach and other surrounding areas for daily walks. A thoroughly pleasant and relaxing place to visit and stay.

Thanks Reinhold and Alice. We enjoyed our stay and the Little Red Gate which is really well presented along with the added bonus of some goodies on arrival and items in pantry. Very well presented, clean and comfortable and affordable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to base themselves in Kingston for a few days. Great location, close to shops and not far from Hobart.

This was a very comfortable cabin for our family. It was spacious with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. There was a shared laundry and BBQ. The cabin was well insulated for warmth, and had good lighting. It had good parking and was only 10 mins to the CBD, and 7 mins to Kingston beach.
