We had 4 nights at our beautiful house.

We had 4 nights at our beautiful house. That allowed us to visit a number of rainforests, creeks and waterfalls which are in close proximity to Mission Beach. We prefer creeks and waterfalls to reef trips and their are so many to explore such as Murray Falls and Alligators Nest up near Tully, Lacey's Creek near town, Josephine Falls about an 1 or so draive away and South Mission and Bingil Bay. The bars and restaurants in the village are amazing and very friendly and if you want to make your own food - the Woolies at Wongaling Beach was way cheaper than our local Woolies in inner city Brisbane.

Parking was only issue.

Parking was only issue. We had to park on street as no spaces left. I was celebrant for a wedding at wongaling beach. Had meal at Mission beach resort prompt service but short on gluten-free choices as husband coeliac. Coffee spots limited we walked 12km to get coffee from wongaling beach to south mission beach. Road works an issue at Mission beach.

Mission Beach is having a huge upgrade in the CBD.

Mission Beach is having a huge upgrade in the CBD. Avoid here until it is completed if you want to avoid pedestrian access issues to shops, beach, etc. Underground drainage works throughout town are behind schedule, the shop owners are so patient.

Nicely positioned in front of the beach.

Nicely positioned in front of the beach. Hotel is having a Refurbishment between September and December, which is needed. Room was large and spacious with a balcony. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom with a good pressure shower. Very clean, lovely white sheets and towels.

Mission Beach is a stunning, boutique town with stunning...

Mission Beach is a stunning, boutique town with stunning beaches and proximity to so much exploring. It has fabulous restaurants, cafes and a few little boutiques and galleries. Whilst there was some council work going on during our stay, we recognise there is never a good time to schedule this and it didn’t impact our use of local businesses or experience of the region.

During our visit there were major road and pipeline works,...

During our visit there were major road and pipeline works, making it difficult to walk down the Main Street. This impacted the overall experience as some shops/restaurants were closed (either temporarily or permanently) and these works have apparently taken 12 months already and are set to continue for another 6 months. The whole town is not looking at its best, which is disappointing for tourists and locals alike.

Seadreams Mission Beach is probably the most beautiful accomodation I‘ve ever encountered. The owners have created this place by paying attention to every little detail - beautifully decorated room, friendly welcome message, very comfortable furniture, a lovely pool next to the beach, delicious breakfast in the morning etc……. Thanks for a truly awesome stay at your place!!

Close to the beach. Large clean rooms with cooking facilities. Quiet and comfortable with a nice BBQ area around the pool with good seating for everyone. A short 5 minute drive to mission beach we found mission reef resort comfortable and good value for money. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed and the washing machine and dryer are inside apartment.

Great beachfront location, nice bar and ala carte breakfast, (We didn't have dinner, so can't comment, though food looked nice). Nice views, easy short walk to restaurants and bars. No supermarket, you have to drive to South Mission Beach about 3km away.
