Room was very clean and spacious, and was serviced everyday. Beds were very comfortable. The location suited us, because we enjoy Manly beach and we were happy to explore northern parts of Sydney. Close to public buses.

Apartment was clean and tidy and had all the amenities you would expect. Some snacks and coffee etc which was a nice touch. Location was great with easy access to Manly. Bus was every few minutes and only took a few minutes to get to Ferry etc. Hosts, Mike and Julie, were very helpful with great advice about restaurants and bars etc. They also gave me good advice on where I could swim at a sheltered beach that wouldn't be challenging to swim during the current high swells. Their local knowledge was excellent.

    I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding...

    I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, the experience was far below the standard I expected. On one of the days of our three-day stay, we had no access to running water from approximately 4:00 AM until 9:00 PM. This situation created extremely difficult conditions: • We could not use the toilets or showers. • We could not clean ourselves, cook, or wash dishes. • We were left in an unhygienic and very stressful environment. When I approached the reception around midday to ask for information, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. I was told simply that “there is no water, and we don’t know when it will come back.” When I explained that the toilets could not be used, a receptionist replied that “everyone should just use them without water.” I found this response to be very rude and completely unacceptable. We paid for three full days expecting comfort and peace of mind. Instead, one full day was ruined by this situation, which caused us stress and inconvenience rather than rest. At a minimum, I believe your team should have offered an apology and shown understanding. I therefore kindly request: 1. A refund for the day when water was unavailable (one night out of the three). 2. A written apology acknowledging the poor handling of this incident. I hope you will treat this matter seriously and respond promptly. I believe this is a fair request, given the circumstances.

    Location location and location was great born and bread in Narrabeen I love visiting my family and friends and love the lagoon , surf and pool. Greagg th bush walk nearby and the Warriewood wetlands are stunning and beautiful as is Deep Creek and Middle creek off the Wakehurst Parkway has a waterfall and home to 2 platypus if you want to search the Narrabeen wonderland for some back to nature

    The staff of the Sands hotel were very helpful and friendly, have stayed there before and always enjoyed it, parking facilities are great highly recommend the Sands for walking along the beach which is what we like to do, have rebooked in July

    I love the northern beaches of Sydney - they are wild and...

    I love the northern beaches of Sydney - they are wild and beautiful and never too busy ... the only downfall of Narrabeen is you can't really swim ... too many rips and shore dumpers ... but still managed to cool off in the gorgeous waters :)

    Staying, parking and being able eat all meals in same premises was a great bonus. Location to the beach and local shops was fantastic. Absolutely loved our stay at the Sands Hotel, room was good, bed was very comfortable and if you wish to close patio sliding doors you made the room very quiet from outside noise. We slept with doors open so i could hear the ocean waves breaking at night.

    Check in and out where relatively pain free, our cabin was easy to get to and was comfortable and well equipped. Lakeside Holiday Park was easy to find and shopping and cafes were within walking distance. The beach was close by with easy access and there was a market on Saturday that had fresh fruit vegies, cakes and coffee and much more. We also enjoyed the walks through the bush that were close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
