Location couldn't have been better, a stone's throw away from the harbour with all restaurants along the coast. Right in the heart of the central street with Woolworths being a 2 minute walk away. We didn't eat at the connecting restaurant but it looked amazing. Perfect for Koala sanctuary too !

Liked the position and the pool,though it would be handy to have a railing for elderly people. Apartment had very noisy neighbours next door who were screaming and fighting and making loud bang noises,mostly at night which ruined our holiday and our sleep.Beds were uncomfortable and place needa an uplift.Blood stains on quilt in main bedroom,took it of the bed, disgusting.

Nelson's bay is a beautiful location to relax anjoy the water . Great for all ages with plenty of options - boating, swimming , snorkelling , walking and socialising at cafes. Highly reccommend going on a dophin cruise as its great way to not only see the dophins but to see the harbour and surrounds, also good for solo travellers to enjoy.

The property was well furnished with modern and up to date furniture. It was reasonably clean and tidy. As far as ocean views go, I had to stand on my tippy toes to see a glimpse of the ocean in the far distance. Had a beautiful breakfast at The little Nel, we highly recommend going there!

Great getaway

Great getaway Fantastic coffee, homewear stores and an opportunity to get a Thai massage right in Victoria Pde. Loved that restaurant on the corner of Victoria Pde and Dutchies Beach ⛱ Tomaree head 🚶‍♂️ walk/ hike never disappoints. Looking forward to coming back.

Nelson Bay is just great.

Nelson Bay is just great. I dont live too far, in Newcastle, but we always had family trips to the bay for Christmas. And I want my son to have the same experiences I did when I was younger. It is just far away that it really does feel like we are on holidays somewhere alot further away. The shops, the cafes, the resturants, bars, everything is at your door step. Summer time is amazing, the bay has the most beautiful colours, everyone enjoying the sun. It is definitely 10/10

Staff were friendly and helpful even though I could see they were busy handling multiple things. They were clear with there instructions and where to park. In addition to two bedrooms upstairs, there was a spare bed in the downstairs part of the townhouse. The location is quite good and a short walk to the beach. You probably need to drive for food in Nelson Bay, however, it's not far to walk to the RSL club if you want to have dinner there.

This is a small older style motel that’s been given a thoughtful update. The room had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The location was perfect we could walk into Nelson Bay, out to Shoal Bay and the walk to Little Beach is very easy. The hotel management was very responsive and helpful. Great value for money.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to shops and cafes. I had a pram with me, footpaths the whole way. I also saw other young families from the hotel walking to and from Nelson bay cbd shops. Very family friendly, we booked a two bedroom apartment. Plenty of space and room for our pram and portacot. Extremely clean.

hotel itself was in a prime location to base ourselves during our over night stop in Nelson bay. the room was was spacious and the bed very comfy . we had a really nice dinner at the adjoining restaurant where the staff were very friendly. would highly recommend the seabreeze for a stay in Nelson bay.
