What a delightful stay we had at Ulverstone River Retreat. It is a little slice of Tasmanian Heaven. I could have sat all day looking at the beautiful River Leven rising and falling with the tide. We stayed in the Loft Apartment and it was perfect for our needs.... so cosy and comfortable. The other rooms looked gorgeous too from what I saw. Kids loved the wildlife on the lawn in front. Don't miss the Leven Canyon walk and for those wanting something a bit off the beaten track try the Castra Circuit. Kim and Anthony were such friendly and approachable hosts.

I had a fantastic stay at the dome accommodation on the farm! The setting was peaceful and picturesque, offering a perfect escape into nature. North Motton is a rural area (farming and forestry) not a place. It is a 15 min drive to the beach and local coastal towns. Cradle Mountain is over an hour away and Leven Canyon and Kaydale Gardens about 45min away. If you are intending to visit some glorious Tasmanian countryside this makes a very suitable quiet secluded base.
