The personal touch to welcome the guests, the personalised service at breakfast, the tastful and detailed decor of the whole place to create a warm and elegant ambience, it reminds one of the time of Raffles hotel in Singapore. Breakfast was personally served by David, who was the chef and housekeeper, keeping the whole guesthouse (a heritage building) clean! Tim, the owner was just as welcoming, showing us the property and gardens. If you like a clean, quiet, and homely place, look no further. Even the garden grounds are very tastefully done up. There's also a cottage for families and the king bedroom, which are very tastefully decorated by Lucy, Tim's wife, who has a keen eye for details!

The atmosphere, the total eclectic rooms, the warmth of both fires. OMG the bathroom was spectacular. The fact that everything was there to use if we wanted to. Not that we did but if we had of forgotten something ourselves it was already there. It was total bliss. Only regret, we only stayed for one night. We were a party of 6, there was so much room and privacy too.

A gem hidden to be discovered! Spectacular property with amazing natural views in middle of small picturesque town of Exeter. The house itself is tasteful with all the amenities that you may need in a house for a comfortable stay. Luxurious and good quality products across the house. The bathrooms were well equipped with comfortable toiletries, overall décor of the house is very peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors which is well equipped with BBQ and comfortable seating allowing us to view across the farms and hills. We loved the indoor fireplace is very chic and cosy.

The garden is super becautiful. We really enjoyed exploring surround. The owner is very easygoing. No problem at all. It would be excellent choice to hide away from city life. We may visit it again when needed.
