Renmark is such a beautiful spot in the Riverland and we absolutely loved our time here! The town has a welcoming, laid-back feel with plenty to explore along the Murray River. A highlight for us was visiting the Woolshed Brewery – the location right on the river is stunning, and enjoying a locally brewed drink while soaking up the views was unforgettable. We also had breakfast at the Renmark Hotel, which was excellent – generous portions, friendly service, and a perfect start to the day with river views just across the road. Renmark is the ideal mix of relaxation and adventure, with gorgeous scenery, great local food and drink, and so many little gems to discover. Hotel Renmark was a one night stop for me after camping at Mungo and it exceeded all my expectations. Enjoyed a wonderful sunset and sunrise overlooking the might Murray. The birdlife was amazing as was my stay in this iconic hotel. Lucked out on Sunday and did a paddle steamer cruise on the PS Industry which was amazing. Plenty to see and do in the area but I simply didn't have the time so will have to return and stay for longer. The hotels museum was so tastefully done and I thoroughly recommend a visit. The Visitor Information Centre is the best place to visit to get information about Wineries/Breweries, walking trails, museums and also what is in other towns nearby. Very Friendly, helpful lady asked us a few questions about our preferences and then gave us a very handy information sheet and booklet. The waking paths along the riverfront are wonderful. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved having plenty of space to relax both indoors and outdoors. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet close to the river and local shops. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We felt really welcomed and looked after.
