Lovely nature, really overpriced cost a fortune, some places did nkt accept cash, getting around with mobility issues was not good at all. Things closed to early. Cocktails full price tasted like cordial. Yet could drink beer full strength with no limitations.
Beaches lovely, baat trip great but to pricey when you take 5 kids and have 2 adults its way to expensive.
Be nice to have a few more layed back options not all fancy places.
Movie theatre was fun. Bus ride overpriced.

Wholeday biketrip and empty beaches! LOVED it.
So much more than quokkas. Forget them.
Foodies have to go somewhere else, cause eating out is poor and expensive.
Have to stay overnights (I was two, which was perfect), otherwise you see only other tourists with their daily excursions.
Was much more better than I expected with the beautiful beaches all over the island.

E-bikes great for an overnight stay- covered almost the whole island in 24 hours! Wonderful beaches for swimming (even in August), good Quokka spotting tips from bike staff, and great to stay overnight and have an island almost to yourself as the 4pm ferry departs.
Too much to squeeze into a one night stay, so more nights and a more relaxing pace for proper exploring next time :)

Rottnest is an absolute gem.
Rottnest is an absolute gem. Apart from the quokkas (which are everywhere), the beaches and the water are picture perfect and absolutely pristine. It is so easy to get there from Perth, it would be a crime not to go there.

Loved the scenery and the Quokkas,
Only downfall was the emergency door between rooms that allowed you to hear conversations, tv shows and coughing from next door which took away from trying to relax

A great place to relax and recharge, and get some easy walking and cycling in, as well as snorkellng. Different options for coffee, drinks and meals depending on your budget, group (family, friends, groups).
Loved the quokkas and the beaches with virtually no one on them.

Beautiful location on Rottnest Island overlooking the beach and the sea, very spacious bedroom, bathroom and large balcony, not many complimentary items in room,, cakes/biscuits would've been a nice touch., also, for the cost of the room breakfast should have been included, relaxing by the pool was very enjoyable, staff were friendly and very approachable.

Nice hotel on Rottnest island if you want to stay overnight. Good pool area and the room / bathroom was very comfortable. Helpful staff. Nice to see the quokkas around the hotel, but tbf, they were walking around the main tourist spots all day anyway.
