We loved the feel of Mostar and its vibrant bazar.

We loved the feel of Mostar and its vibrant bazar. Staying two nights gave us the chance to experience the city at a relaxed pace—trying different restaurants, visiting museums, and even taking the boat ride under the famous bridge. One of the highlights was watching the divers leap into the Neretva River, a tradition that’s both thrilling and unforgettable. I highly recommend visiting Mostar. It’s a historic city with friendly people, delicious food, and an atmosphere that beautifully blends culture, history, and charm.

A very atmospheric old town with a rich history. Plenty of restaurants and shops. There's something for everyone here and also down under the old bridge where Neretva flows. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful city with lots of friendly people. Gets hot during july- august so better to plan visit in late august/ september. The people/ tour guides will give some great insights on the culture and history of the country.

Mostar is a truly beautiful city full of charm, although sadly it has become quite crowded during the high season. To escape the masses, I recommend visiting the Catholic Cathedral of Mary, Mother of the Church, and its bar, where it is still possible to meet and share a drink with locals in a more authentic and relaxed atmosphere.

Starting to get a bit over visited in Summer, so the centre is crowded. Needs to do something about an apparent regulation that has every restaurant closed by 11 pm which means in practice if you are held up by the heavy traffic on the Croatian highways and arrive after 9.30 pm at your hotel every restaurant will turn you away by 10.30 pm. It did not feel very welcoming on our first night to arrive hungry and find nowhere where we were allowed to sit and eat. Luckily bakeries were open and some bars serve beer until 12 pm. Need to do something about aggressive begging by children and adults also. Otherwise Mostar sells itself with it's jewel -like location, nice people and value for money food, Mostar beer and Herzogovinian wines.

    Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect. Really very interesting and pleasant place to visit. My recommendations: 1. Rent a car if you can drive. There are a lot of very interesting places around Mostar and day trips there are quite expensive. Renting a car is much cheaper. 2. I would recommend to rent a car from Sarajevo airport. It is on the way to Mostar anyway, so you do not need to drive in Sarajevo (I was scared to drive in capital city). To get from airport to bus station is tricky, it cost around £20 pounds one way on the taxi or hours of waiting for the local bus (one every 1.5-2 hours and it is very difficult to find the bus stop for this E200 bus). If you want to take a bus - find all maps and timetable in advance because nobody will help. On the bus station NOBODY knew where was the bus stop to airport. Literally we wasted half a day, that we could spend in Mostar. 3. Rent a car from the company with the office. 4. Mostar is the Heaven for people, who like all things baked. Bakeries are everywhere and all their variations of croissants and strudels are amazing. 5. For me the main problem was that I used to go to the cafe and take tea/coffee with pastry. So, tea/coffee and croissants are available at the same place. In Bosnia it is practically impossible. In bakeries maximum you can get cold drink and in the place where you would be able to sit down and drink tea/coffee you can only get a piece of pizza, if you are lucky. 6. People are amazing here, very friendly and nice. 3.

Great quiet location only a short walk from the Old Town. Markets and Bakery within 50m - very convenient!! Apartment was exactly like the photos if not better, great view of the rooftops from balcony. The owners went above and beyond to help us during our stay with renting a car and booking a taxi for the early morning. We enjoyed our stay in Mostar even more due to their hospitality :)

Ideal location to visit the old town of Mostar, everything was within easy walking distance. Including a very good shopping mall (Mepas Mall). It was fairly easy to get parked outside the apartment and our host Amer was very friendly. The apartment had all essentials. it is a good size for a small family or a group of 3 friends. It was great value for money.

Super hotel. I've stayed in Mostar many times and this is easily the best place I've stayed. Brought my mum here to experience Mostar and she loved the hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the Bosnian meze breakfast is exceptional. Location is perfect, room was very good, hotel is cosy, and price is very good. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

This hotel is er charming, it's clean, next to old city and the service is top. The breakfast is very good, and they serve the best bosnian coffee. And lastly the location is perfect. The hotel is placed in the old city close to everything 😊 When I come back to Mostar, I will stay here, and I recommend you do the same.
