We decided to stay in Oudenburg as to have only another hour or so after crossing the channel on our way to Lithuania. It was a Thursday night and there were no restaurants open for food. People were unfriendly. I will definitely never stay there again

You do need a bike there in the vicinity of the boat, but...

You do need a bike there in the vicinity of the boat, but there is a cozy outdoor cafe where you can get spaghetti or crouque, but to eat something you have to go 6 to 7 km further, the boat itself is great with Peter as a sociable host

Beautiful town, very clean and well-maintained. Several free parking areas are available, as well as numerous restaurants and bistros. We dined at a restaurant that serves excellent and delicious cuisine with a very friendly welcome. We highly recommend it. It's called d'Abdij and is located at Marktstraat 1, 8460 Oudenburg.

We found there wasn't much to do in the village of Oudenburg...

We found there wasn't much to do in the village of Oudenburg itself. But from this location, the coast and Bruges were easily accessible. We liked Bruges, De Haan, Ostend, and Nieuwpoort. And our teenagers, aged 17 and 14, loved Knokke!

It's very personal and steeped in history. A country hotel in a wonderful setting for cyclists. Bruges and the seaside are easily accessible. It's cozy there, and the breakfast is first-class and plastic-free!

The Distillery is quietly located near the village of Oudenburg. Free parking, no noise. The village itself boasts a pleasant museum about the Roman era, and there's a very good restaurant. The village is situated right between Bruges and Ostend, between a beautiful city and the beach. Several options are within easy reach.

On a tour of Europe with the family, 2 kids,.4 hotels, over 9 nights. This was my favourite location we stayed at for 2 nights. -clean, beautiful apartment room with nice views over the horses in the field. -hospitable hosts who are happy to help in terms of directions/advice. However, you have privacy at the property -very satisfying breakfast -very relaxing feel and close to Bruge

Beautiful rural surroundings, peaceful and comfortable hotel in a small village. Good location for day trips to Ostend and Bruges. Lovely to sit outside with a drink overlooking fields. Ingrid was very helpful in arranging a doctor's visit for me. Delicious, varied breakfast and home- cooked supper. Would like to return.
