Received confirmation of booking and went to check-in (during check-in hours) but all doors were locked and I couldn’t gain access to the hotel. There was no answer to my phone call and no response to my message sent on the Booking.com app. Had to then find alternate accommodation at the last minute in a smallish town where there weren’t many other options. Don’t risk booking unless you have a back-up plan.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice hotel with a real, large lobby, comfortable yard with a small restaurant, tables and chairs conveniently and flexibly arranged around the pool and the restaurant. Rooms are quite large, comfortable and very quite. People were very very accommodating and nice.
I traveled with my 2 year old.

We want to mention Madelena who helped us very much. We've forgot our guide Bulgaria book at the hotel. When I called them, they looked for, found the book and Madelena sent it to us at the hotel we stay now (in Borovets), so she did really something special for us. THANK YOU AGAIN Madelena!!!!

Very clean and spacious place at a very reasonable price for what it offers. Communication with the hostess was perfect and we felt extremely welcome. Definitely recommend as place to stay in Berkovitsa.
