Cris , her husband and the team made our trip to Iguasu unforgettable. We loved breakfast particularly. Fresh, healthy, hearty breakfast daily! Eat as much as you can! We totally loved it! We appreciate fresh organic orange juice and lime juice from Cris’s garden!!!Ambience was set perfectly- lovely music in the background, beautiful cutlery, delicious food, attentive hosts- exactly what one needs to start a beautiful day! Our rooms were spacious, very clean, beds were done daily. Pool was clean and perfect for those hot sunny days. We loved to relax in the garden by mango and lime trees. Evenings we enjoyed table tennis and had a chat with other travelers . Local shop is about 3-4minutes walk. Cris husband was kind to chauffeur us to our destinations daily.

Everything. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we received top class service from all staff. Very friendly, attentive, and approachable. Rooms were sparkling beautiful and clean - love the linen and bathroom. We recieved twice a day housekeeping service - one in the morning and one just before the bed time to turn your bed around. The premise is absolutely beautiful and in walking distance from Igassu falls. Recommendation: Start waterfall trail an hour before the general public opening hour (so around 8ish). You will be able to have private time with Igassu Falls - where you can have freedom to take many pictures as you like without people surrounding you and to enjoy the nature. And this allows you to catch free visitor shuttle to return to the hotel (otherwise you have to walk the whole distance back under the crazy sun and humidity).

The location is really good, very convenient to the Bird park and Iguazu falls within 10 minutes walk. The service is very impressive, reception desk can answer the English questions well and give good suggestions. The food is also perfect taste. Most impressive thing is that can be postponed for check out at 5pm. allows us have enough time for the visit of the tourism. Thanks for that receptionist. Again there is a Gabriel from the trip advisor was given the awesome suggestions on our trip plans, thanks as well!! The hotel will be recommended next time!!!

Everyone was incredibly nice! The Mom took us to the Bus station and made sure we got our tickets and could lock our bags and everything, the Son also speaks English really well and was happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was really nice and the room super clean. It's a new hotel and you could tell the family is passionate about it, which is really nice. We really enjoyed our stay there!

When we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne. Our room was exceptionally clean and equipped with two air conditioners. Housekeeping visited twice a day, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything was in the details—the cables from our laptops and phones were neatly tied into bows after cleaning. A fresh pitcher of water and small treats, like chocolates, appeared in our room after each visit. One day, I left my shirt crumpled on a chair, and when we returned three hours later, it had been ironed, carefully folded, and wrapped in paper. This hotel is truly a gem in the jungle. Chickens roam freely around the property, parrots reside here, and many birds, including hummingbirds, can be seen flying around. Communication with the reception was handled via WhatsApp, which was much more convenient than using the phone. Every message we sent was responded to within two minutes. The restaurant and bar were beautifully designed, and most importantly, the food was delicious. Breakfast was outstanding and followed a Turkish-style concept—a variety of small, delicious portions were served, leaving us feeling completely satisfied, like a full and happy balloon by the end. Everything was perfect, but there is always room for improvement. Personally, I would have loved to see more animals around the property—perhaps a few friendly cats. Of course, that’s just my personal preference, and the hotel might not agree. We have traveled to more than 30 countries, and for the past three years, we’ve been living for three months in each country we visit. Out of all the places we’ve stayed, this hotel is truly the best we’ve found, and we couldn’t be happier.

I liked everything. It had everything I needed, the sheets were fully cotton and good quality and felt comfortable to the skin. Room was impeccably clean, great desk, great bathroom and the design was nice, not just the standard hotel look. Breakfast was great. The staff was really nice, not only professional but also friendly. Location was good, close (5 minutes walk or less) to the bus to the airport and national Park, restaurants that looked good with reasonable prices and a supermarket very close. Laundry was good value 20 reais per KILO.

Brazilian Gateway to the Iguaçu Falls

One of the most popular touristic destinations in Brazil, Foz do Iguaçu is located on the Brazilian side of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Iguaçu Falls. Lying on the triple frontier between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, it also offers the Parque das Aves (Birds Park), the Itaipú Dam, and access to cheap shopping in the Paraguayan tax-free city of Ciudad del Este.

The word Iguaçu derives from the native Guaraní language, meaning “big water”. The spectacular falls are part of the natural frontier between Argentina and Brazil, and comprise 275 individual falls spread over 3 km in both countries, with a maximum height of 80 metres. Its water flow can be three times that of the Niagara.

Starting as a small village, Foz grew thanks to the flow of tourists, the construction of the bridges linking to Paraguay and Argentina, and the works on the Itaipú Dam and Hydroelectric Plant. Some of the best hotels in Foz do Iguaçu are located along the road linking to the national park. Nonetheless, most Foz do Iguaçu hotels are located in and around the central area.

    Definitely a trip to keep on your Brazil itinerary.

    Definitely a trip to keep on your Brazil itinerary. We spent almost 2 days on our visit with the first day visiting the Argentinian side. The second day we did the Brazil side with a visit to the Bird Sanctuary but due to timing missed the opportunity to do a boat trip up to the falls.

    An incredible visit to the Falls on both the Brazil and Argentinian sides. It is recommended to visit both sides in 2 days. The area can get extremely crowded, sometime feeling like Disneyland. But without the additional extra fees. Worth a visit.

    Great place to visit for shopping in Paraguay. Wining and dining both in Brazil and Argentina and of course the Waterfalls and Itaipu hydroelectric dam are the basics, but there is a lot more. Unfortunately we had only three days to spend there.

    3 days to see both sides of the waterfalls and to enjoy the regions other attractions is a little short. Especially with the wait times to cross the border. We did 4 border crossings in 3 days and it was painful. It consumed too much time. To see both sides of the waterfalls and to do one or two other activities and give enough time to relax and enjoy a resort/hotel you really need at least 4 days. Lastly, prepare for crowds or people at the Falls and very long wait times everywhere. Also careful with the parks guides. They're sales people for the tours and will lie to sell you a ticket.

    It is a magical place.

    It is a magical place. We could have stood for hours watching the water thunder over the edge. The nature reserves both on the Brazil and Argentinian side are wonderful. Plenty to do there, short walks to explore the falls and good options for food. We spent 2 days there, one on the Argentinian side and one on the Brazilian side. Both hade their own charms. Highly recommend the boat trip to and under the falls. It's thrilling. Note: one is taken under one of the smaller falls, and can see the main falls only from a distance. I don't think it is possible to get up close to the main falls by boat. But even going under a smaller fall was absolutely thrilling, one could feel the power of nature.

    The falls and the bird park are the big attractions for a good reason. This was our second time, and everything was easier this time than a few years earlier. We were able to catch a local bus to the bird park, and Ubers to and from Rafaín for that marvelous buffet and folkloric show, a highlight not to be missed. Yes, the place is of high tourism, with increasing development of resorts, but still attractive for the less resort-minded visitors.
