The breakfast was simple but it got the job done. The location is perfect -- right next to the river and there are great views for lunch. Before goin on passeios in the afternoon, we would swim in the river and soak up the sun before lunch. The staff was friendly and the pousada is also located right in front of a little square that has two ice cream shops. The space is colorful and they did a good job of integrating it with the nature and local aesthetic. When we were getting picked up or dropped off, it seemed to be better located than places that the other guests were staying as we picked them up or dropped them off after the park. There is no pool, but there is a river!

Wonderful Stay. There are three awesome places to stay in S.A. and this is definitely one of them. Staff was excellent and big shout out to Ada who made our stay that much more memorable. Location was super close to entrance to the park. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Santo Amaro. It was the best find on the booking website and we were so lucky to find it. This room is definitely worth the money, and if I visit Santo Amaro again, this is the place where i will stay again. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was relaxing and refreshing. Finally, the service was always helpful and accommodating. Breakfast service to rooms was great, and there are plenty of drinks in the frigobar to choose from.

The room was very spacious, clean and new. The pousada is located close to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, so it’s perfect for participating in tours. The quality of the daily breakfast was good. The best part of my stay was the host Carla. She was the sweetest person, took care of everything (organizing tours, ordering food, etc.) for me and spoke English really well.
