Room was good but a bit dated and faded.
Room was good but a bit dated and faded. Hot tub was advertised on their website but not operating and looked like it had been down for a while. They advertised hot breakfast but only provided grab and go and that was limited. There was a notice posted about the breakfast but this was only provided at check in. No discount for lack of advertised amenities when I asked.

Good location on Hway 97N. Walking trail in front of hotel along highway good for dog, with bonus attraction of interesting wood carvings from annual chainsaw carving competition. 3 minute drive to River House restaurant with good varied menu, and to Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant/takeaway. Food good at both. Good-sized room with useful kitchenette. Free pass available for gym or pool at recreation centre 2 blocks away - no fitness room on site now. About 1 hour drive to Tumbler Ridge.

The hotel is well situated for the traveller. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was excellent.

The room is a fair size, and we enjoy the kintchante because it includes everything. The stay was comfortable. The hotel is dog friendly.
