It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop.

It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop. We would have liked to go to the waterfront, as we have done before, and take a boat cruise, followed by dinner. The problem is that it is so busy now and finding a parking space is problematic.

I grew up in the Kingston area and will travel there to visit family throughout the year. I love the city, love being able to show it to my partner and discovering new things about the city. I often recommend it as a destination location to friends who may be planning a trip to Montreal or Ottawa from Toronto, and encourage them to spend some time in Kingston.

Kingston was a surprise to us in a good way.

Kingston was a surprise to us in a good way. We were en route back to Toronto airport and had passed through on our way through originally to Ottawa/Montreal /Quebec and beyond. We didn't know about the 1000 Island National Park so it was a delightful surprise to find out more on the 3 hour river cruise. The independent book shop was a wee gem as are the adirondeck chairs scattered around. With family in Quebec we would consider coming back this way next time and seeing more of the city's fascinating history. Great coffee shops &ice cream.

Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,127 reviews
Breakfast was amazing, lots of choices for all ages. Hotel location is great: 6 to 8 mins from downtown Kingston, and 3 to 4 mins from Hwy 401 (which is great if you're just stopping by for a day). The rooms were clean and nice, and hotel staff is friendly. We told them by email that it was our wedding anniversary week, and they actually remembered and made it extra special. We even got some nice pictures to show. Overall, we had a great time and would stay there again.

Although an older Motel, the facilities offered a secure, clean, quiet, and affordable place to rest our head. It is located near Highway 401 (hardly hear the noise) and it is less than 10 minutes away from downtown Kingston. There are a couple of restaurants that are walking distance and you can fuel up next door. It is the convenient for all your needs.
