The place was advertised as 1 minute to the beach - it...
The place was advertised as 1 minute to the beach - it actually took 20 minutes by car. The place was advertised as serving breakfast - if you wanted to have breakfast you had to go off property across the bridge to as small but very good independent restaurant. The place was described as scenic - yes it was on the Mersey river but right on a main road and across the road from a working dockyard. The photo of one of the rooms on your website looked bright and cheerful - ours was dark and dingy - if you closed the curtains when you were in your room it was dark and the only source apart from the light in the bathroom was one small bedside light on a bedside table. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and conveniently accessible from the car park. Due to the unexpected 'no records of our reservation,' we were offered a room at an increased rate of CAD43++.
