A great vibe with enough to do for 3 days.

A great vibe with enough to do for 3 days. They were setting up the Christmas markets as we left and it looked like it would be magical around Christmas. If there for longer we’d have struggled for more to keep us occupied unless we’re there in summer when you could enjoy the beautiful parks.

No complaints at all. It’s a beautiful city.

No complaints at all. It’s a beautiful city. The people were amazingly friendly. If I had any disappointment it was however much I wanted to try my French, people were quick to switch English and provide English menus. While I needed that at times, I would have liked the challenge.

Great city full of history.

Great city full of history. Restaurants very pricey, especially in the old city. I would have expected the prices to be lower especially in the shoulder season. However, Quebec City is the closest to being in Europe while still in Canada. It is beautiful and historic.

It is a really great place for a 4 or 5 day trip. It has an excellent choice of restaurants and bars and the old streets are really nice. Getting around the high and low towns on foot is a piece of cake!

Take the ferry across the river to Levis and enjoy the little 3 km walking tour, the beautiful library in a former church, the fine delicatesse au petite Oignons, and the historical house of the founder of Canadian credit unions.

We liked Montmorency Falls, Orleans Island, would have liked to have toured the Cathedral but we couldn’t find any place to park at all. Frustrating. It was raining; we couldn’t walk five blocks in that.

This hotel was amazing - the staff were friendly, very helpful, providing information with recommendations on places to eat. Even made a reservation for us. Loved how the old was incorporated into the new of the hotel. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was included with a good variety for a continental breakfast. The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Old Quebec City. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely stylish hotel with a pleasant ambience and excellent location. Very friendly staff with complimentary coffee machine next to reception. Brilliant. We had a deluxe king room, which had an enormous bath and walk-in shower. Lively Italian restaurant part of hotel. Quiet location but right next to the old town and funicular up to the chateau area.

Whilst just outside the walls of the old town, the hotel sits at the top of a hill with great views from all rooms. Previous reviews alluded to the tiredness of the hotel which I was prepared for. Apart from the lack of a lot of amenities and housekeeping only on request, the size of room and views make up for the shortfalls.

Great location to access Quebec City Old Town but far enough away for a quiet peaceful night after a long day. Nice kitchen area to allow for a leisurely breakfast.
