There's not much here, but for a 2-night stay it was perfect, centered between La Malbaie, Tadoussac and most importantly, L'Anse St Jean which was our jump off point for a fjord/whale cruise/tour. Take a minute to sit at the quai at Port-au-Persil. Just a beautiful place and you might even see belugas if lucky. We were close enough to be able to go to both Tadoussace and to La Malbaie for supper. A stop at the Fromagerie St-Fidèle is worth your time... fresh curds, every day!

The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom.

The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom. It was too close to ferry. Restaurant was awful. Someone just walked into our cottage in the middle of the afternoon; on another day, someone was peering in our window. If you miss the ferry, you have to wait 4 hrs in a town with nothing to do, hence going to "explore" cottages., while people are staying there. If you want to do anything "exciting", you have to go back to Quebec City or go to Tadoussac. NOTHING TO DO IN ST-SIMEON

Beautiful town with a gorgeous beach.

Beautiful town with a gorgeous beach. Wish we had more than one night to enjoy the town offerings. We ate at Le Quévillon and Restaurant sur la Mer and both were decent, although not excellent. We shopped at the local market, which was well-stocked with food and alcohol.

A pearl little town.

A pearl little town. Beautiful landscape with breathtaking views. Motel Cofotel was very welcoming and offered a good value for money. The rooms are big and comfortable and there is a nice coffee house nearby. 5 thumbs up

Just a drive through after the ferry but would not recommend using booking for reservations. We got a room - supposedly the last in town - at a hotel - Cofotel - that wasn't worth staying at, and booking too a review on it I did not send, so if you are staying in Saint Simeon, do not use booking! Also, they kept posting rooms in Riviere du loup - a ferry ride across the St. Lawrence. I feel sorry for Saint Simeon as they are not a fancy town, but Booking and other tourist mentions do not make it look very inviting. At this time of year, not many restaurants are open or have good ratings.

The town is tiny, but near the ferry and very picturesque with abundant water views. There are very few restaurants and a tiny grocery store, so options are limited for dining out, but the grocery store is well-stocked with pre-made meals and sandwiches. Location is midway between La Malbaie and Tadoussac, so it is easy to explore both areas.

We booked this room for our wedding anniversary weekend plan. Amazing room with an view.. worth the money paid. the view from the room was extraordinary . The room was clean and comfortable beds. Hot water shower 24/7. Staff was very polite . The best part of the property is the swimming pool . The pool is very clean and maintained so well. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the weekend. Nice place to walk around and hotels near by. Overall very nice place and perfect clean rooms.

Absolutely loved it. The hotel is set in a picturesque location with a charming creek next to it. There's a private rocky path that leads down to the shoreline, simply breathtaking views looking out to the sea. The property also features an outdoor BBQ area, fully equipped with everything you might need. The place is exceptionally well maintained; it’s clear the owners take great pride in keeping everything clean and well cared for. Highly recommended!

Great location on the river with a great view from our upper King room balcony. The hotel is older but the rooms were up to date, clean with lots of attention to detail. We had a Nespresso coffee maker, a good fridge with freezer and good selection of English TV. There is no elevator. We used this hotel as a base for our tour of the Saguenay western shore. Continental breakfast provided in a small seating area. Helpful owner spoke very good English.

We have chosen this hotel as a "pit-stop" hotel between Tadoussac and Quebec. We were happy with our choice. The room was big and clean. Staff very kind.

Location great off the ferry. But there is a very long steep hill from there to get into town. The hotel was really comfortable all around.
