Location of the hotel was awesome, it's located on a little pond with tons of bird action. Traveling with a dog can be difficult but I found this place to be incredibly accommodating. They gave us a room located right beside the side door which made it easy for bathroom breaks outside. The front desk staff also provided us with some dog treats on arrival. The room was very comfortable and was outfitted with lots of little human comforts in mind. Definately would stay again!

This chain of hotels will be our go to now.Awesome king room.The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot.So clean.The underground heated parking was a nice bonus.Very friendly and helpful staff.The beds were so comfortable.Im trying to purchase the Downlite down pillow I used.Best ever.

I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay. All staff were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was a great display. The breakfast server was extremely knowledgable, patient, and helpful. The veggie pizza I ate from the East 75 Lounge was AMAZING!!. My room was super sanitary. The bed was incredibly comfortable with awesome soft AND firm pillows. I felt safe and secure with my surroundings.

We had a lovely meal at Denny's--we didn't want much, but...

We had a lovely meal at Denny's--we didn't want much, but got a tasty falafel salad to enjoy together. The Superstore had just what I needed--a birthday present, a sympathy card, some gluten-free goodies to add to the funeral reception lunch--in and out was easy. We didn't really get to any other venues this trip. All the time with family.

Typical small Alberta city.

Typical small Alberta city. Lots of traffic although the drivers were fairly courteous with the usual over representation of diesel pickups. We spent quite a bit of time in Broadmoor Park which is a a really well cared for urban park with lots of facilities. Lots of small restaurants but hints of urban spawl occurring into the surrounding industrial areas. Less crowded than nearby Edmonton and little evidence of people living on the street. I'd probably stay here again over staying in Edmonton if I had the choice. I did not notice any transit while visiting so I don't know how available it is. Lots of single family housing and higher end apartment buildings.

I have lived previously in Sherwood Park. Great community.

I have lived previously in Sherwood Park. Great community. The county looks after its roads and sidewalks. Feeling of safety. Lots of greenery. Several relatively new shopping areas. Variety of foods offered. One caution is that some eateries close by 9:00 pm or 10:00 pm but there are the usual fast food places many of which have a drive thru open for 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Sherwood Park is part of Strathcona County and is located near Edmonton AB. It has plenty of greenery in summer. Most retail outlets are relatively new so most buildings and parking lots are in excellent condition. The county takes care of its sidewalks and is always repairing any new cracks. Even in winter the county is very considerate. I remember that once I forgot to move my car after a heavy snow fall (my car was parked on a Snow Route which means I have to move the car within an hour or two of a heavy snowfall so the road can be plowed). However, would you believe that an RCMP constable kindly called me as the tow truck was about to tow all cars that had not moved after the snowfall. He asked me if I could move my car and avoid a tow charge and a ticket. I gladly said yes. The RCMP constable saved me about $100. It is way things are done in Sherwood Park!

The hotel, itself was very good.

The hotel, itself was very good. I found it difficult to find. No signage on the entrance side, and it's across the street from the actual advertised address. Not much choice for eating. Boston Pizza next door. Cost-co is on the other side. Very much appreciated that it was pet friendly . Good breakfast. Beds comfy. Nice to have fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room.

I had family in the area so it was a perfect fit for my stay...

I had family in the area so it was a perfect fit for my stay. The Bonus was that I found it the Best place to stay. I wanted to take family out to dinner and the choices are many, but CHOPS attached was tops. There was a relevant amount of noise at night considering that teams frequently stay there, it just reminded me of good old times. I was there for 6 Nights and some are noisy with happy families..

I booked the Ramada Hotel for my Senior Sisters visiting from Ontario. I chose this Hotel due to it's location to amenities as my Sisters would not have a car at their disposal. It had all they would need within walking distance and I was only 4km away. The Front Desk Manager, Andrew Runge, was very welcoming and cares about his guests. He looked into our issues and came up with a satisfactory solution, after the facts. The breakfast was satisfactory to start the morning.

room was clean and tv was good size bed was comfortable and PILLOWS SMELLED CLEAN which is awesome had fridge and microwave so very convenient this hotel USED to have terrible reviews but lately 8/10 and 9/10 so we thought we would try it and it was a great surprise how much it has been cleaned up and is now a "super" Super 8

The service was excellent! The room was very clean. The most comfortable bed ever , like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was outstanding 👌. Can't say enough about the amazing hotel. We will be staying there from now on and have told others to do the same.
