Went to Burntcoat Head Park at low tide followed by watching the bore tide at the South Maitland Bore Station. Friendly staff at both sites and the Fundy bay tide was well shown by visiting both sites!

Truro is a charming town.
Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed.
We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much.
It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance.
Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!

Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away...
Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town much

The fact that we could walk to a restaurant not far from the Inn rather than drive was great. It was a perfect walking distance. Wait staff were pleasant and lobster rolls were the best we have ever had. The cheesecake we had was delicious. The Nook and Cranny had the option to eat in or on the patio. Lovely evening so we opted to sit out.This morning had a great walk in Victoria Park and the people who work there were polite and friendly.

We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one...
We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one night before departing early the next morning for our destination in New Brunswick. Truro was a convenient overnight stop. We did not spend time much time in Truro.

This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!
I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food....
I don't recommend it to anyone!

I visited Bakers Chest during my visit to Truro, with my family. Glenda and Dan were both extremely welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was exceptional. They even purchased cereal, when we told them that we didn’t require a cooked breakfast everyday. The B&B is clean and very beautiful with breathtaking views.
I 100% recommend this B&B, not only was our stay enjoyable but the hosts were amazing. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

Rooms were more than adequate. Quiet property despite location. 15 minute walk into Truro, during which we spotted multiple deer on each occasion. Lovely staff.
