Location worked great as it was right next to the train station but a very short, easy walk into the main town. Also, there was a grocery store very close by as well. The owners of the Chalet were very kind and accommodating and served an very tasty, filling breakfast with many local products.

I come from England where we have this concept of good or bad service, which is in essence an opportunity for the customer to throw a tantrum. In Le Prese I discovered a different paradigm - perfection of presentation and taste can be an art form. What am I talking about? I’m talking about how this great hotel in its iconic lakeside location has moved with the times in keeping with its heritage. I’m talking about the cheerful dedication of the staff. I’m talking about the perfection and attention to detail of the cuisine and about the devotion to local sourcing. Ok that’s what I liked about it.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is full of charm, blending historic character with tasteful modern touches. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, featuring a spacious and relaxing bathroom. As vegans, we appreciated the extra effort the hosts made to provide us with suitable breakfast options. We’ll definitely stay here again — next time we hope to try the restaurant and bar, which were unfortunately closed during our visit.

The view from Agriturismo Miravalle over the famous "Brusio...

The view from Agriturismo Miravalle over the famous "Brusio loop" is exceptional. Because the stay exceeded two days, we received five days of free train travel from Agriturismo Miravalle between Tirano (Italy) and Ospizio Bernina. Plus a boat ride on Miralago and free entrances to museums and other attractions.
