This was my favourite hotel during our honeymoon trip! The owners are kind and friendly. They decorated our room beautifully with a giant balloon, some sweets and a heartwarming card after learning it was our honeymoon. We also enjoyed the beautiful lake and mountain views outside the hotel. It is located 1 stop away from Interlaken Ost so you can get more peace and privacy away from crowds. 8-10 min walk with heavy luggages to the station. The breakfast was great, loved the hummus, cheese and variety of bread. There’s no mocha but the owner kindly asked what it’s like and made it for me, it was delicious. Thank you very much! I highly recommend this hotel for its wonderful hospitality and great views!

The view you have from the room is really beautiful, it's totally worth it, it's a little distant from Interlaken but the station is 2 minutes from the hotel and you arrive in less than nothing. Customer service is the best and they always keep your room clean. Super recommended

We had an amazing stay at the chalet! It was cozy, well-equipped, and the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The surroundings were beautiful, and the hospitality was top-notch. Magical place for scenery of the river and mountains.

Magical place for scenery of the river and mountains. Plenty of places to explore, lots of great places for eating and shopping. Gardens in the city are very pretty. Lots of people paragliding if that’s your thing. Visited Aareschlucht Gorge which was amazing. Definitely worth a trip and only around $12 Swiss franks.

A great place to sleep if you wanted to visit Interlaken and...

A great place to sleep if you wanted to visit Interlaken and all the other attractions in the Jungfrau Region :-) The transportation is pretty easy - you have a bus i12 minute-ride, a train 4-7 minutes, and a ferry to Interlaken. The place is not busy, therefore you can relax there more. There are some amazing hotels by the lake, such as Brienzesee Hotel - amazing!!! It is a great starting point to all other villages and cities.

Very easy trip from Zurich Airport to the Swiss Chalet.

Very easy trip from Zurich Airport to the Swiss Chalet. When you buy ticket for the train from Zurich Airport you need to approach staff to help you buy your ticket. Give them the address of the accomodation your are going to. It was good to arrive to Zurich Airport in the morning and leave Zurich in the evening so you have plenty of time.

The heavy fog during our visit limited our ability to explore the lake as much as we had hoped. While Ringgenberg served as our base, most of our activities took place outside the area. Although we didn’t dine locally, I did spot a burger and beer restaurant nearby that seemed to stay open late. Getting around Ringgenberg is convenient, with easy access by foot, bus, and a local train station for added connectivity.

There is an elevator in the building which is very useful.

There is an elevator in the building which is very useful. At night, the town is very quiet so can sleep comfy. The room and the bathroom were clean. Hot water in shower and sink which is needed when is cold outside. The sheets were confortable. The transportation, which is offered for free by the hotel, was very organized and takes you to Interlaken in 6 minutes. Transportation is usually every 30 minutes but it makes it even easier if you check the schedules in the SBB Mobile app, the buses and trains always arrive and depart at the times shown on the app, that makes the whole experience stress-free. The bus station is very close to the hotel and the hotel is located in the main street so it’s easy to get there in a couple of minutes even with your luggage.

Ringgenberg seemed like a silent town away from nestled...

Ringgenberg seemed like a silent town away from nestled interlaken with serene river side and views to the mount. I would love to visit again for exploring castle, lake around. This time it was just a place to crash with too high plan outside the town always.

The location, the quaintness of the hotel, the way we were received on arrival was absolutely lovely to experience. Added to this was the view from the room/balcony. The highlight was the sumptuous breakfast and the hero was the museli. We loved the museli and I regret not asking for the recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ringgenberg.

I’ve made mistake with dates in my booking, so there was no availability on the date we arrived, but Royal Swiss apartments kindly offered me a room in one of their hotels at no extra charge which I am so grateful for.
