I last stayed at the Hotel Post more than 30 years ago. It was good then. It is brilliant now. A lovely quiet room with a very comfortable bed, so effectively sound-proofed that I could hear nothing of a party (including a drummer) that was in a nearby function room. A good en-suite bathroom. An excellent smorgasbord breakfast. A restaurant with an extensive menu. And very pleasant and helpful staff.

This little but cozy hotel is located in Mels, a very beautiful town where without exception has a spectacular view of the mountains. The hotel conveniently has safe free parking just one block away. The privacy was absolute and the service beyond expectations. When I return to Switzerland, I will choose Schweizerhof once again to start my journey through the Alps.

We stayed In the House Primula Pizol at the beginning of February. Self-check in-house. Instructions on how to check in were clear from the host. The room was warm and cozy. Our room was looking better in reality than in the pictures here on booking, the room exceeded my expectations. The view from the window, the cleanliness of the property, value for money are a combination of my satisfaction. The kettle in the room was handy. We had lunch, dinner, and Breakfast at the Hotel Furt nearby (I reserved a table there for Dinner and breakfast during our Lunch, in advance). Breakfast cost Chf 19 per adult, Chf 15 per child (Buffet breakfast was served, we asked the Chef for eggs and he made it for us, I had a few cups of coffee). Make sure you bring food supplies, medicines if you're staying for longer, there are no shops, or pharmacies around.

I reserved for my mother who was visiting. She got a good help from the host Kristiina and was happy about the accommodation in general. The parking is an important feature in Switzerland.
