We were travelling in motorbikes and needed to change our plans. Fortunately they had a room for us. It was wonderful to arrive to one of the kindest and warmest welcomes we have had in South America. The room was lovely, beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed with lovely linen. Fire set ready to start. It was my husbands birthday and they had made homemade chocolates and a card in our room, and recommended a restaurant to celebrate. We felt welcome and cared for. What a lovely couple.

This house is really big and had all we needed. The bed is very comfortable and everything is spotless clean. We had a big terrace with an amazing view of the river. With the car it took us not even 5 minutes to get to restaurants and supermarkets. The owner is very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you are in Cochrane.

Very nice place. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The owner is willing to help you and answering all your questions about the area and the nationalparks around cochrane. I enjoyed my time at Kalfu very much.

Fabulous design and very spacious. Modern bathroom, stylish open-plan living room/kitchenette (with sofa bed and amazing view of countryside/hills) and massive bedroom with tv and most comfortable king-size bed we had in whole of Patagonia (better than expensive hotels). Best rest we had! Photos don’t do it justice. You can park in private garden just 2 metres from massive front terrace. Very friendly/communicative host

It's a place to pass through; it's not worth staying more...

It's a place to pass through; it's not worth staying more than a day. We really stayed to rest. It's better to stay a couple of nights in Caleta Tortel; Tortel is magical compared to Cochrane, which has no gastronomy whatsoever.

We were in Cochrane during Christmas, so there were no...

We were in Cochrane during Christmas, so there were no services available and no place to eat out. It's a small village, and you can tell it's very isolated, so everything is simple, but the people are very friendly.

The city itself isn't anything special.

The city itself isn't anything special. But staying at the Ribera Cochrane is a good option; its location provides easy access to several tourist attractions, ideal for getting around by car. To end the day, simply relax by the river, take photos, read, enjoy the birdsong... total relaxation.
