This is a lovely small hotel in a privileged location in Pucon, just across from the central,square, the Plaza de Armas. A very confortable and clean room, an excellent breakfast, a great location, a reasonable price, and very friendly and helpful staff. What else could you ask for?

The property is beautiful, and the room that we had was very nice. It is an oasis just outside of Pucon. The parks are not far and the city is closeby. There is an amazing access to the river at the back of the property with a couple of beaches to relax and watch the rafting tours passing by. The property is highly recommended.

Pucon is great, I spend ~6 months there last year.

Pucon is great, I spend ~6 months there last year. Food is not consistently great but Trawen never disappoints. Try your sopaipilla with queso and merken! Walk a bit out of the center to a frutería and load up on berries and other great produce in the summer. Souvenirs/artesanía are better outside of town (and further south). If you find something cool, just buy it, you might not find it again :)

The city center is very beautiful, it is very safe and we can connect with nature without walking for so long, it is very easy to buy souvenirs and eat in the best places, homemade food made by traditional families, Ubers are very cheap and we can learn a lot of culture, without a doubt a fascinating place.

Pucon is an excellent place to plan a short visit to.

Pucon is an excellent place to plan a short visit to. Driving off Rte 5 (the main spine road of Chile) we nearly stopped at Villarica but were very pleased that we had pressed on to see what Pucon was like. Both are great towns but we are glad we stayed in Pucon. The beach on the lake was lovely and there are lots of lively restaurants and bars in the small town.

Such a lovely town with a bustling centre with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops. A short walk took us to the beautiful, although busy, beach by the lake. On the other side of the peninsula was the marina and the opportunity to hire a yacht. Ever present was the amazing backdrop of the volcano, occasionally giving off a puff of smoke. Our trip was in summer, and clearly winter is equally attractive for snow sports.

Pucon's a beautiful city where you can do as much or as...

Pucon's a beautiful city where you can do as much or as little you want, especially if you're young and adventurous. But there are also plenty of nice shops and restaurants if that's more you're thing. And the scenery is gorgeous. The only real downside is that it's an expensive place by Chilean standards. Even by American standards, it's not cheap. It's also about an hour and a half drive from the nearest airport, which only has flights to Santiago and Punta Arenas. There is good transport between there and Pucon, though, so you don't have to rent a car if you don't want to.

Pucon is perfect.

Pucon is perfect. It is a very small town, like a village, with lush nature and very friendly locals. If you enjoy peace, relaxation or enjoying nature with trails and sports, this is the ideal place for that. The volcano that makes up the city makes everything even more magical. You can also go there to ski, enjoy the snow and bathe in the hot springs.

I've known this hotel for many years, have been there for breakfast and party but it was my first time staying. Eventhough it is called as a luxury hotel I think its not longer the case. We stayed in the 2nd floor the room was not as clean as you wouñd expect in a Luxury hotel. Balcony was dirty, bathroom was not properly clean ...even my son (teenager) noticed it. The view is magnificent and breakfast very good as well.

Tomás and all the volunteers were super nice and helped me a lot to organize all my tours and gave good recommendations what to do and where to eat. The hostel is also very clean, beds are comfy and very easy to connect with other travellers. I already miss everything there. Would definitely return if I ever go to Pucón again.

The hotel is centrally located but still in a quiet area. They have a locked area to park cars and bikes, which was very useful for me. They were also very helpful in keeping my luggage stored when i was away for a couple of days. Breakfast is good with personal service. I came back to this hotel 2 times, everytime excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very large, with views out to the water. We went into Pucon for dinner on two nights, and found the town to be a bit too crowded and crazy for us. So it was nice to have the peace at the hotel. The host also gave us some recommendations for hiking in the area.
